I think it was Gooney that first reported that. :D It really makes sense that the O's want to start getting younger IMO. Even if they get Prior for Tejada they will still stink and not compete. I wonder if the the O's are considering getting real young and treating 2006 as a rebuilding year. It might be a good idea for them, and an O's fire sale would be fun for everyone else. They have IMO and even if they get Manny...again they won't compete in the East. They need to build some youth and young pitching would be perfect for them to get started. And yes, a Baltimore fire sale would be a blast. I don't see them trading Roberts though. They do look at least 2 years away from competing in the AL East, or even for the wild card. Without Tejada things just get worse, and Mora is unhappy too. If I were in charge in Baltimore I would absolutely treat 2006 as a rebuilding period.
