  1. For the couple to several of years it'll take the Bears to become good (if ever) Harbaugh will have peaked and burned. If Rodgers leaves the NFC North, the division is up for grabs right now. Harbaugh is clearly the best candidate if he was available and did wonders with Kaepernick.
  2. If Harbaugh was available and goes to Minnesota, might be time to just fold the Bears
  3. What are the options for DC? Not enthralled with hiring a Colts guy for that job, position jobs are fine. I'd rather bring in an outsider or preferably keep Sean Desai in that role.
  4. I think an NFL head coach just has to manage a team well, manage the clock and timeouts, and make good decisions on whether to go for it or not. Plenty of good OC's and DC's have failed, we've seen that with Matt Nagy.
  5. Do we know if Joe Brady is even good? How much of his success at LSU was due to Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, CEH, etc being really good? He couldn't last a year as an NFL OC and while you can argue he shouldn't have been fired, he didn't really do anything to elevate Sam Darnold there. Granted, Sam Darnold is terrible.
  6. This seems better than Mike Kafka and Dan Quinn
  7. They should at least get Daboll in the building. They'd be doing a disservice if they don't
  8. Jesus, who has the time to do this?
  9. If they want an experienced coach, Doug Pederson has a Super Bowl with Nick Foles
  10. Dan Quinn's killer staffs in Atlanta led to 4-9 start in 2018, a 1-7 start in 2019, and an 0-5 start in 2020 before he was finally canned. How the hell is this guy getting a job after 1 year off? Atlanta fans rightfully despised him and they've taken a step up this year with a worse roster.
  11. Poles is fine but I've heard he's a big Dan Quinn guy. There is this though which would be so much better:
  12. I don't think there's a GM candidate the Bears could hire that I'd be upset with, I feel like it's a strong field. Wish they'd just pick one and move on to the coaching process. This process should have been started weeks before the season ended. But that would have been too easy.
  13. Dan Quinn would be the worst possible hire not named Leslie Frazier. Complete disaster in Atlanta after Shanahan left. Started every season awful and then won enough meaningless games to save his job.
  14. I hate this. How they don't have a GM in place by now is criminal There's so many good GM candidates this year, it's hard to screw it up. They should have figured this out by last week and started the coaching search.
  15. The Bears only list 2 interviews in the last 2 days
  16. Guessing he'd bring over Ken Dorsey but if Daboll leaves Buffalo too, Dorsey might just be promoted there
  17. More proof Leslie Frazier is a serious candidate
