    You using Firefox? Type about:config in the address bar and search for media.windows. Double-click to set the value to false. And that fixed it. Good looking out.

    Vine videos quit working for me on my PC in firefox for no apparent reason, but they work in Chrome. Vine is weird. I think you do need the app on mobile platforms, though.

    Bryant: 2-3, 2B so far Candelario: 2-3, 2 BB, R, RBI Villanueva: 3-5, 2 2B, HR, 2 R, 3 RBI, K Olt: 1-4, 2B, K so far Not a bad day to be a 3B in the Cubs system.

    There was a lot of talk of him possibly moving there when he was in the Rangers' system.

    K% BB%? 24.1 and 8.6, though you have to remember that his first game skews that K% quite a bit. Take that one game out and his K% is 17.

    It amazes me they gave a hockey guy the Cubs beat. I like Jesse and he does great filling in on the air, but goodness he doesnt know much of anything about baseball. Doesn't know much about hockey either. Are we saying that Jesse Rogers is basically the Sam Cooke of sports writing? I don't know what's sadder: the fact that you made this reference, or that you beat me to it.

    The point of having lots of top prospects is to reduce the effect of any particular prospect's failure. They're not in trouble if two or three don't become stars because that would mean two or three do become stars, which is well above average return.

    It's crazy to think of how much different this team could have been had they signed one free agent...and for that free agent to be Jason Grilli.

    Agree. He's only 19 and playing full season ball. He's right on schedule. I thought more of his power would be showing by now, but the other parts of his game all seem to be ahead of schedule. With his build and his swing, it's hard to imagine he doesn't eventually hit for some power.

    Candelario will be really interesting if/when his power finally comes around.
