The point is that nobody's depending on him, so "struggling because he can't see ball, which might be correctable" is a lot better than "can't hit breaking balls, which is almost certainly not correctable."

There was a disproportionate number of Jags fans in Arkansas when Matt Jones got drafted. Somehow I doubt they stuck around.

ATL may end up not being great, but their losses have come to teams with a combined 10-0 record (11-1 after tonight), and they've been in all of them.

i kind of skimmed through it, but PFF was talking about how he SHREDS the blitz and Seattle knew this and rushed 4 most of their game; i didn't really watch enough of today's game to see if Indy did that too also, they have pretty putrid receivers after Crabtree, Manningham, V Davis (all out today) edit: looking at the box score, Bradshaw with 5 YPC and TRich with just 2.7 YPC (long of 7! on 13 carries)...does TRich actually just suck? 5 of 18 career games over 4 ypc.

Hopefully Indy finds ways to get him in space or gives him big holes to run through, because he's not a very instinctive back. He is the hardest back in the league to tackle one on one, though, which means Indy now has the hardest QB and RB to take down. Maybe this is what Irsay meant by forming a NASA heat shield?

So at least one is on the table, I hope. Hopefully it's because they blow their wad on Cano, one can dream Cano makes by far the least sense of the available options.

Hmm, I feel good about Long improving as the season goes on. Didn't notice any glaring mistakes except on that first possession of the game, but I have no ability to evaluate o-lineman except to notice when they f-up. Well, Geno Atkins is the best DT in the league and it's not particularly close, so -1.7 may as well be 10.0 for a rookie guard in his first NFL game.
