  1. Because you don't make any sense. Cause >>> effect. I love how everybody else flips out when Hamilton is questioned, yet you cant stop posting. This is a highly entertaining level of folly.
  2. What?
  3. He pulled his hamstring in the 3rd quarter. Looks like it is a fairly serious pull too :( Man, and hamstrings tend to linger, too. Sucks.
  4. I didn't know Felix was hurt. Damn.
  5. wasn't he a Lions 2nd rounder? it's been so long I forgot what about him was so awful. the Millen CBs are like snowflakes of crap, with every one having their own special qualities of suckitude Well, the primary issues are that a) he's a cornerback, and b) he can't cover anybody, and constantly gets beat deep. Andre Johnson put 178 up on him. Plus he teased me with that overturned interception that led me to think the Dolphins were about to win. :banghead:
  6. I hate Andre Goodman with every fiber of my being.
  7. Will somebody tell the Dolphins that it's okay to play defense outside of your own 25 yard line?
  8. I was just thinking that. Keep in mind, Cobbs has 133 receiving today. That's nearly 4 times his career total.
  9. Texans have had little trouble going over the top on the Dolphins. That needs to stop. Schaub has 129 yards passing at the beginning of the second quarter.
  10. Texans have a good passing game. Gotta get some pressure on 'em. I'll take the two picks, though. Also, thanks to Yahoo GameChannel for letting me know that Patrick Cobbs leads the Dolphins with undefined Rush for NaN yards.
  11. Is today the day? The day the Miami Dolphins finish a week with a winning record? Houston is a very good 0-4 team, especially considering they could easily be 2-2 and have been withough their starting quarterback. They rank in the top half offensively and around middle of the pack defensively. Miami ranks 10th in offense and 7th in defense this season. If the Dolphins want to win, they will have to take advantage of Houston's weakness against the run while slowing down their very efficient passing attack. Johnson vs. Goodman is an enormous mismatch in Houston's favor. I can't believe the Dolphins can't find a better corner than that.
  12. Wait....Ole Miss > Mizzou? Awesome. I mean, I know they beat St. Tebow, but still. Just awesome. Apparently you missed the word "other." Unless you took from that that Oklahoma State had played Ole Miss, which I can assure you didn't happen.
  13. OH SHI- At least Arkansas will have Ryan Mallett next year. Yeah, that takes the sting out of that scenario. Odds are that if Mustain hadn't been there in '06, Mallett would've chosen Arkansas over Michigan anyway.
  14. Arkansas's offense has a lot of potential. Tonight, against a pretty good Auburn D: 420 yards offense 228 passing 192 rushing 3 guys had 31+ yard receptions Best receiver (TE D.J. Williams) had a slow game with 3 for 24. Michael Smith had 34 carries for 176 yards. (108 for 599 on the season.) And, most notably ALL THAT WITH CASEY DICK AT QUARTERBACK. He of the 5 to 7 TD:INT ratio and pedestrian completion percentage and 18 sacks in 6 games. Next year the starter will most likely be Ryan Mallett, which stands to be a huge improvement, if for no reason than arm strength. Leading receivers Joe Adams and Greg Childs are freshmen. TE Williams is a Sophomore, and is already one of the best tight ends in the country. Smith is a junior. The other backs getting PT are freshmen. We're finally starting to see signs of the improvement in these young players that could lead to having a pretty good team next season.
  15. Auburn has fourth and goal from the 4 down 5...and it's an incomplete pass! Arkansas takes over! 1:23 to go!
  16. Adrian Davis just sacked Todd on consecutive plays, plus there was a penalty, bringing up 2nd and 32.
  17. Holy crap. Arkansas has outgained Auburn...339 to 83. EDIT: And there's an Arkansas interception. I think that's their third takeaway this season? Auburn has 2 separate quarterbacks who are 3-9 passing tonight. Aaaand Michael Smith just ran for a 63 yard touchdown to give Arkansas the lead. Of coruse, they failed the 2 point conversion. Gotta say that, while I thought Smith would be good, I didn't see him being the 25-35 carry type AT ALL. He's been terriffic. Tonight he was averaging about 3.3 a carry until that gamebreaker.
  18. They shouldn't.(and probably wouldn't) I don't think Penn State goes undefeated though. A 1 loss Big XII team wouldn't be a complete crime. A 1 loss SEC team over an undefeated PSU team would be criminal. What's your reasoning behind this? Because I think the Big XII is a better conference. I guess I'm viewing this solely from a Texas/OU side where they'd have a bunch of wins over great teams. Missouri with 1 loss wouldn't deserve it. I think the Big 12 is a better conference marginally, but I'm not sold on Tech, and I don't think that the resumes of LSU, Bama, Georgia, or Florida would be any weaker than those of OU or Texas if they get through the season and championship games with one loss. Also, holy crap. Am I seeing this right? Does Arkansas have two receivers playing well IN THE SAME GAME? Childs has a big game...doesn't make a catch the next game. Adams has a big game...gets one catch the next game. Tonight, Childs has 3 catches for 61 yards, and Adams has 3 for 54 and a 6 yard touchdown pass. Arkansas would probably be winning if Dick would quit giving Auburn the ball.
  19. Well, LSU will make it easy for you tonight, one way or the other. Texas went from a pretty scrubby resume to the best win on anybody's record, so there's a good chance of vaulting Mizzou and idle Bama. LSU is a question mark. And, of course, Penn State could look dominant.
  20. It's been something, hasn't it? I've been really impressed with the way both lines have been revamped, and the results have really shown the last two weeks. Speaking of rankings...ESPN having Miami at 23 is a freaking joke. Especially since they have the 2-3 Chargers, who Miami JUST BEAT, at 16. The ridiculous thing is that they'll likely get more respect after beating a hapless Houston team just because of the subsequent record being over .500.
  21. Nice, Vandy. When do official BCS numbers come out?
  22. You're welcome. It's funny how he's doing exactly what he did at Arkansas: Returning kicks for touchdowns, getting 1/3 to 1/2 of the other back's carries, and averaging a cartoonish YPC on those limited carries. I didn't think he'd break in this fast, though I believed he'd be a very good player.
  23. agreed. It's amazing how quickly a team can improve by simply improving their offensive line. It really is the most important part of the offense. Also, doesn't help when your secondary does its job and you get consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
  24. agreed.
