    i suppose without the ongoing Ron Santo fiasco, along with Sandberg just being inducted, I probably wouldn't care about the hall nearly as much

    I agree with you. I could really care less about anything thats voted on, other than the Hall of Fame. Although it was nice to see Lee's All-star voting comeback this year as well. But the Cy Young/Rolaids Reliever/MVP stuff? I've never really gotten into it.

    Booing Riot or the call? Riot looked worried that they were booing him. It was probably both. ugh it was the call they were booing. i was watching. Theriot got applauded on his way back to the bench. not to mention the fact that they chanted "Ryan! Ryan!" for about the last 3 pitches of the at-bat

    Patterson wouldn't have had that at bat because there's not way he would have fouled those pitches off. he would've messed up the bunt twice and then whiffed on the next pitch. And also, Patterson is now in his 4th major league season. That was Theriot's first MLB at-bat. And he already did better than Patterson. So, your point is totally invalid.

    I'f you mean Riot walking out of the dugout, getting in a cab, and going back to wherever he's staying, then yes. if you mean Riot actually touching the field, let alone hitting a home run, then no.

    I have no idea how anyone would decide to go into oncology in the first place if they didn't have a real tough demeanor in the first place. A little unrealistic, if you ask me. And yeah, the husband thing was so obvious that I'd forgotten they hadn't said it before.

    it was a good episode. Those were some serious false teeth they gave LL Cool J. Next week's episode looks even better. I agree. Anything that involves killing a child is great in my book. ok, I was kidding. Although, he has to stop being bitchy to Cameron. It's starting to annoy me. He needs to go back to treating the Aussie like that instead.

    You know what I love? The Neifi Perez oh-maybe-I'll-drag-bunt-wait-maybe-not-oh-crap-that-was-a-strike move. Love it. It's become my new favorite since the Moises Alou oh-damn-its-outside-but-i-can't-stop-my-swing-so-I'll-ground-weakly-to-short move has been gone.
