    You mean not sacrificing musical quality to be loud? Or the whole always wear sunglasses thing? Or would you have had them stop throwing liquids at anyone wearing UCLA attire? I would've fired myself out of embarrassment. All NU does is play old music that nobody has ever heard of, but at least it wasn't that. And while it pains me to say it, take a page out of Michigan's book and do a halftime show of Monty Python and the Holy Grail for cryin' out loud. You know, something that's both entertaining and won't force people to change the channel. Also, Northwestern doesn't come out of the tunnel to anything. The two times I can remember the entrance song for the wilcats at Ryan field, they were "Don't bring me down, Bruce" and the 1812 overture.

    no, this is pretty standard. why do you think the big 10 was the first to use instant replay? Michigan's not in the game and the game has no impact on Michigan in the standings, so they're simply not interested.

    Yes, because Texas would never have scored otherwise. If we're playing that game, UCLA beat USC 31-26 in December 2004 at the Rose Bowl. And Michigan finished the year 4-7.

    Meh. they also gave Reggie Bush an extra 2 yards right before Leinart blew the QB sneak on 4th down earlier. they also let a texas safety make a cheap helmet to helmet cheap on the usc FB with no flag. And they let Reggie Bush punch a Texas player out of bounds. It hasn't been that bad either way. EDIT: or you could say it has been that bad both ways. That would probably be more correct.

    what else are you going to expect from an announcing booth with Keith Jackson and Dan Fouts? or any announcing booth involving Keith. But on the bright side, we will get to hear the phrase "Speed Burner" and the "Whoa Nellie!" exclamation at several points this evening, I'm sure

    Totally agree. I think he's got a decent arm, but he has really bad throwing form.

    This post made me think about how much I hated Texas fans when i lived in Louisiana, and thus I have decided to root for USC. Also, if USC wins, Vince Young will come back, and he'll beat Ohio State again next year. And there's nothing better than Ohio State losing. Unless it's their impending major NCAA sanctions.

    I'm only rooting against USC because Keith Jackson is so obviously rooting for them. And because I no longer live in Louisiana. If I still lived in Louisiana, I'd definitely be rooting for USC.

    I think it has more to do with knowing he will get WAY more than $2.75M by filing for arbitration. define "WAY." this early on in prior's career, i can't believe he's going to be getting anything crazy. twice as much
