I've only used Cot's. Now I'm looking at Spotrac and RosterResource. Cot's isn't even close to the other two sites. I have no idea which is the most accurate one. The difference is with arb numbers, and pre arb numbers. This will probably even out after the arb numbers are official, and the roster is set.

I'm not trying to figure anything out. I'm asking what source you guys use when determining payroll. So, what source do you use?

It's strange that I can ask what source the guys on here use for payroll, and get a few ignorant responses, but only one guy gave an answer. What do you use as your payroll source?

If I've been told, I didn't see it. Someone said roster resource, one time. Is that the univeral source? I don't know. The reason I asked is because I'm still trying to figure why my number (Cot's) if almost 15 million less than what posters on here are saying. So that's why I asked what source you guys are using. I've never used anything other than Cot's.

Question for you guys. What is the payroll resource you guys use? There's a very large difference with the only 3 that I know of. How do we know which is the most accurate one? The biggest difference is pre arb guys, and arb guys payroll. Current payroll Cot's 204 mil RosterResource 215 mil Sptorac 214 mil Thanks in advance!

He can make his decision any time he wants before Jan 23. But he's not signing until Jan 15. That's the week he signs. Between Jan 15, and Jan 23.

Got it! The portion I wasn't doing as you can clearly read my comment, is not using all the money in the off season. After backing out 10 million, my number adjusted. They have since signed Boyd, and according to Cot's, it's now ate 48 million. After backing out 10 million, Cot's has them at 38 million. I don't see the issue unless Cot's is wrong. And who's to say the Fangraphs is right or wrong, or that Cot's is right or wrong. You guys showed me about the injury money. I was unaware of that. I don't know how my source and your source can be so far off.

I can't open it, and I've never seen this. In the end, I use Cots' No big deal.

Nobody SHOWED me anything. They were just spewing numbers with no source. I have sited a source, which show my numbers. If my source is wrong, that's another thing. My preconceived notion is Cot's. What's your source? Or don't you have one?

Cot's has 47.8 million. Put away about 10 million for injuries and deadline moves, we're looking at 38 million. How is that ignorant to site a reputable site, that most people use?

Yes we have, and it's much more than 30 million. So what is your source? Mine is Cot's.
