  1. Okay, these ref's are the polar opposite of the idiots in the Ravens-Steelers game. They won't call anything to the point of being bad.
  2. How the hell do you even claim to miss that? It was right in front of you. Good, the D-line starting to get pressure.
  3. We'd have played the Falcons I believe. Nope. GB was the six seed. They played the Falcons no matter the winner in the SEA/NO game. Nice job, Graham. Safety time.
  4. Wow. Actually kind of saw that coming, weirdly...
  5. Yeah, the constantly going deep thing was confusing me.
  6. "Tad" is being friendly.
  7. I'm pretty sure thats at least the second time that player has dove into the pile after the play this game. The refs didn't bother to call it the first time...
  8. That was a horrendous holding call. These are some really crappy officials.
  9. Polar opposite of the McDaniels hire, not sure if this will be more successful, though. Should be interesting to see if he goes with Tebow or Orton. I'd be surprised if Bowlen is open to leaving his first round pick on the bench for another season. Its probably in the Broncos best interest to see what they can get for Orton. Tebow might not be their QB of the future, but neither is Orton, and more could probably be had for Orton.
  10. Since the play isn't over until the player is down, wouldn't an INT returned for a TD and still count?
  11. The last time it happened was with Carolina in 2007. I looked it up and I think the count was five (Including the Black Hawks after the 38 cup).
  12. Choke harder, THE OSU.
  13. I was thinking we'd see a completely new cast of characters there. Thought Lewis would be gone, Palmer, TO, Ocho, and Benson gone as well. I'm sure TO is gone, but keeping Lewis may mean they don't plan on rebuilding immediately, so maybe those other 3 are coming back now? John Clayton ranked Carson Palmer as the #15 QB, just ahead of...Jay Cutler. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=5972554 interesting. with lewis coming back, i'd be very shocked if ocho is a bengal next season. those 2 hate each other. I wouldn't be shocked if that was one of the "issues" that had to be resolved.
  14. The game was played 1/19/2002.
  15. CHI 2 GB 2 F/OT More likely: CHI: 13 GB: 31
  16. John Fox officially not returning: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5975190
  17. He said that the penalty (there was only 1 for too many men on the field) was on the offense, meaning that their wouldn't be a after clock play as if it were a penalty on the defense. The pass play before where the Tenn. player fell onto the NC player after the player was down was called correctly. The Tenn. player was shoved, but not hard and still in a way that could be seen as part of the play, causing him to fall onto the NC player. It was incidental.
  18. I never knew that. That's dumb too, to be honest. Touchdown Tennessee!!! Eh, prevented the game from ending on a penalty, which would have been a really crappy ending to a good game.
  19. I'm thought it existed in the NCAA, but like the NFL, only for certain penalties or something. Well that's dumb. Same thing for NFL, as evidenced by the DAL-ARI game. I didn't see the Dallas/Arizona game. ARI had an illegal formation penalty as they spiked the ball for a FG attempt to win the game (eligible rec. covered, I think). There was only 10 seconds left at the time of the spike, with ARI having no time outs, so if there was a run-off, the game would have ended, but apparently the illegal formation penalty didn't have a 10 sec runoff due to everyone being set.
  20. They need to use some logic in saying what is and is not reviewable. And don't declare a game over if you're not sure it is. Technically he is correct. The game was over until the challenge was made. If no challenge, the game is over.

  23. That was confusing, but the right call by the officials. The UNC Special Teams coach is going to have to explain why he started to send the FG unit out.
  24. lol, 'i'll give my credit to mike tice' *circles two guys* 'this guy isn't playing anymore, this guy isn't playing anymore' He circled Louis and Shaffer. Also, hip torque. Hip torque.
