    I'm sorry, but WHAT? Of course he is. only 4 players have ever had 3000 hits and 500 homeruns... what, his batting average not high enough for you? He was a 1st ballot in 2003 with 500 homers. To even think that he won't get in first ballot is incredibly naive.

    40 pitches in 3 innings is exceptionally low pitch count. 13 pitches an inning is great. He's on pace for a 120 pitch complete game. Although it's doubtful he gets that, I wouldn't call that high or low. Exceptionally low would be under 10 per inning, something Maddux at his best and Lieber would do. High is over 16. Welcome back Mr. Ramirez. How about Rich Harden? 81-pitch complete game yesterday. Its great for Kerry...

    Nice play Neifi. Honestly: If the throw had been just a little off line towards first base, or high, then Neifi would have probably been safe.
