I knew that Bradley was going to loose this game, I was hoping that they would at least make it close. Memphis, however, is just that good. They can score in bunches and are athletic from the bench. The big thing was how well they shut down O'Bryant on the offensive side, heck, they shut down the inside. That stopped Bradley, which plays an inside game. Anyways, good run, wish it could have gone farther, but Memphis is going more than likely to the Championship game, in my opinion.

I am glad Bradley did as well as they have, but Memphis is a really good team. They just don't stop with the players off the bench. I think that they can beat anyone in the Tourney.

Very successful, or the most successful baseball tourney? Honestly, Bud Selig can stick his toung out at Steinbrenner and all the critics. Sure, things weren't perfect, but it was great.

Frick'n plane. I have ESPN Bottomline on my phone, so I saw Bradley up 14-4 when I had to turn it off, and then when I landed, I turned it back on and almost jumped out of my seat. I wish I had been able to watch it.

I posted in the other thread because it was talking about mid-majors, but the announcer for the Florida-UWMil game just said something like, "Lets take a look at how the major conferences did in the first round," and the MVC was included in the graphic...

Fair assessment. I know that Tennessee is overrated at number 2. But I am honestly asking, is that still considered impressive if WSU does beat Tennessee? Just honestly asking. Don't bother, until a mid-major wins it all, people are going to look down on them and act like they don't belong.

I was hoping to see all the MVC teams do well so that more players will notice the MVC and want to play there, thats what really needs to happen. Sure, neither of us is going to win the NCAA's, but as long as we make people notice us, its good.

haha, of the 7 ESPN experts, 5 had Kansas picked to make the final four.

I'm glad with the way the first round turned out for the MVC. 2-2 with the two losses coming to a very good WVU, who I believe is underrated, and a decent Georgetown (UNI was overrated). Bradley and Wichita State really showed what the MVC is about.

Well, as poorly as they played in the last few minutes, they made KU look worse for the entire game. I think the Jayhawks were expecting to out-athlete Bradley, and there was a collective pants-crapping when they realized Bradley was perhaps their athletic equal. They're a good team, and I hope they beat Pitt Sunday. I don't know about that, Pitt is a very good team, but sure, why not.

I go to Bradley, and can be very passionate about my teams. Also, they played very poorly for the last few minutes. And that foul was planned to slow down Kansas, since they had one to kill.
