whelp, when will Baker be fired? I mean, if we fail to win a game before we return home, this team will be facing the toughest crowd ever. Dusty should just resign now, nothing he can do will get the fans back on his side.

It's the Cubs offense. We couldn't score on a 6+ Starter and 6 + ERA against SD (I believe) 67 pitches through 6 innings... dont expect to see the bullpen.

And when he sees that NOBODY is covering, he needs to go for either the bag or the line to get the player. Sure, in the end it didn't hurt us, but still, this team shows time and time again that it is LOST on the field.

Perhaps but Juan almost lost it out of the glove and had that happened, it likely would have been over the wall for a Canseco-esque bounce of HR fortune. after watching the replay, it looks like it might have had just enough to get over, but not by much.
