    I saw sweetpeteman on earlier...did anyone PM him to let him know it was his pick? No, they didn't. With the sixth pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins take: LaRon Landry Sr. S LSU They need help back their and fast, they were near last in the league in many defensive catagories, including yards per play. With Archeleta underperforming and now gone, they need a Safety to step in next to Sean Taylor. And I have PMed PriorPower, IMB... :glare:

    It makes me puke to think about this series of events again, but Harris never even came up to bat. Dusty was too afraid of Lenny coming in to pinch hit that he went with the lefty, knowing that would really force McKeon's hand and force him to bring in the clearly inferior Lowell. Yeah, Dusty didn't put somebody in to face Harris, and then have Lowell pinch hit, he put in the lefty because he thought Harris would ph for the pitcher, even though Lowell was on the bench. Dusty thought that the career pinchhitter would come in, not the good player.

    Also, Furcal plays for the Dodgers, not the Giants, and I doubt they would want to trade back for a guy they got rid of last year, plus their is evidence of a dislike for Hendry by the Dodger's GM.

    Carr is going to sign somewhere and be a pretty decent, servicable QB for a couple years. He never had a chance in Houston with the lack of decent O-line.

    I love the media, until now, I hadn't heard much about SoIll being a "mid-major," but now that they've lost, they arn't anything but a "scrappy mid-major" according to ESPN.
