    Yeah, he seems to get ahead a lot and then throws the same garbage 2-3 pitches that aren’t close and every count goes full. Mix it up! That was my meathead take, too; too often it feels like when he gets to 2 strikes he has no idea what to do next.     Why in the world would Epstein want Girardi? What is it about Girardi’s managerial style that anyone would thInk is a good fit for this Cubs franchise? Im not saying he does or will hire Girardi or even let Maddon go, just saying that it a possibility it could happen if they dont want to extend Maddon pass 2019..     Not saying it'll happen... Epstein has 3 years left on his deal.. Just gonna say that IF Epstein not planning on extending Maddon for whatever reason after 2019, maybe he considers letting him go so he can offer the next guy to at least a 3 year deal..
