IMO, only teams we should watch now are the Diamondbacks and Marlins, that are chasing the cubs and the Brewers and Phillies that the cubs are chasing.

I think sometimes it's a matter of bringing up a prospect(s) after the break or deadline, whether it a pitcher, hitter, or both that just starts out hot and kinda ignites the rest of the team with their energy.

Right, with this stretch now with no days off until next week Thursday, anytime they can give Leiter, Merryweather, and Alzolay a day off is needed, plus it gives a chance for other guys to step in and gain that confidence to finish games.. Was this a 2 hour game ? Holy cow

I think it been obvious lately that Ross is sticking with these 9 plus Amaya down the stretch, with Wisdom sprinkled in here and there. Mastrobuoni and now Canairo will only be used for needs, like bunting late or pinch running most likely.
