  1. He couldn’t throw anything but the fastball. 3-1 count. Pretty much easy to call that one. Talking more of how fast he fallen because of control issues
  2. Probably close to the same cause Maddon dont let starters go more then 5 or 6 unless cubs are winning in a blowout
  3. Well, is there anyone in the pen that will be able to hold the Nats til the Cubs figure out how to put another run on the board.. Might take a while
  4. Be cool if Murphy could hit a 3 run bomb here against his old mates
  5. Lol Almora Im sorry but i put some blame on Maddon with Almora decline this year, mainly because of pulling him in and out of lineup and not allowing him to just keep going when he was hitting the ball well..
  6. How about back to back to back homers Dont believe we had one of those this year
  7. Cishek with his 1 millionth appearance of the season...lol
  8. Need 2 baserunners to get Baez and Rizzo another shot... Need to keep this a 1 run game I feel a HR coming
  9. Cubs Fantasy team 2019 Contreras Rizzo Baez Machado Bryant Harper Almora Heyward
  10. Would have been totally worth it to trade Russell for three months of Machado. I wonder if the Orioles would of taken that deal unless the cubs added alot more
  11. Maddon hoping Strasburg being over 100 pitches leaves him a cookie
  12. Sorry but youre wrong.. He becomes a FA in the 2022 offseason, not the 2021 offseason.. Hence Earliest FA 2022 Alright, buddy. Do me a favor. Go look at Kris Bryant and see what it says for his free agent date. I looked at Cots , youre rightTheir both FA after 2021 I took baseball reference as meaning their FA the actual they show..
  13. Why Heyward? He has like a .650 OPS since June More like .675-ish. Gross, but still much better than Almora. That said, I'd rather have Schwarber there. I chose him cause of LH bat and Maddon would play him for his defense more over Schwarber potential.. I dont know i guess it depends how you want the outfield.. Schwarber Heyward Zobrist Or Zobrist Almora/Happ Heyward
  14. Earliest FA 2022 Right. Which means he's a free agent after 2021. Listen, I look at the dude's stats all the time and cry. This is his fourth season. His first season he played 142 games but it didn't "count" as a year. So this is his third full season. You get six and then you're a free agent. You don't even have to apologize when you realize I'm right, because it means he will be off the team sooner than later. Sorry but youre wrong.. He becomes a FA in the 2022 offseason, not the 2021 offseason.. Hence Earliest FA 2022
  15. I like the potential of this lineup top 5, obviously it alot better if Bryant starts hitting again.. Then add Heyward in the 6th slot, makes it even deeper
  16. FA after 2022 would mean he has 4 years left, I have no idea if 2022 is the year but 2019, 2020, 21 And 22 is 4 years. It would be. But he's a free agent after 2021 just like a lot of our guys. I am willing to be corrected, but I'm quite sure I'm not wrong. I hope I'm not, at least. Earliest FA 2022
  17. Remember when it used to be the 1st and 2nd inning when starters got in trouble.. Now it the 4th and 5th Come on bats, get it back
  18. I think there will be teams who would take him based on his age,4 yrs of control, and defense at SS.. Thank God he actually only has three years left of control after this one. He a FA after the 2022 season
