Funny because most of what I say ends up true or close to it... If this team is underachieving and are below 500 in July, there's no doubt Hoyer will trade guys like Bellinger and Happ

Ehhh.. they were close to trading Bellinger last year til Swanson talked him out of it and who did they add, Cuas and Candelario... This season if they're under .500 in July, Hoyer won't hesitate to trade away Bellinger, Happ, etc. and bring up the kids from Iowa and let them play out the season. I know eventually a couple of these guys will start hitting again, just hope it not too late and the SP continues to pitch well enough

It actually benefits the Cubs as they wont have to do a bullpen day on Sunday, they'll have Imanaga and Taillon for the weekend games.

Why ? Assad would be on a normal 4 day rest on Sunday, or are they just holding him for the Brewers. Also, we could see something happen with Hendricks when they activate Smyly, my guess another IL trip.

He like 6 for 40 in last 15 games including today with with 20 Ks, I don't know what you're seeing.. If that one of the better hitter on team, just shows how bad the team has been but doesn't make him good, he's still been terrible. If they had anyone in Iowa that was capable of hitting and play first at mlb level, he'd be sent down.

No cause even when they do score, it seems like it because of walks, Wild pitches, and errors contribute to them.

There really isn't one guy on this team right now that I have confidence in them to get a hit. They're all hitting under .260 and half of them are under .220 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
