Outside of Mervis, there is a chance they bring Candelario back and start PCA.. I personally think PCA will start in Iowa

I know what they need, it's just a matter of will they look outside to get it via trades or FA, or stay in house as far as position players goes.

So, if they dont bring Bellinger back or spend big money, is this pretty much what we're gonna see next season as far as position players goes, I gotta feeling theyll bring Candelario back. Gomes, Amaya Mervis Hoerner Swanson Candelario Happ PCA Suzuki

Didn't realize Hoyer shares his plans with Kap and already made his decision, especially since PCA hasn't shown much up here and will likely start the season in Iowa

I wouldn't be surprise if both the Marlins and the Reds end up ahead of the cubs when it's over.

They eliminated themselves, like I said before, I bet some of these guys are just ready to end the season.. zero urgency

These guys checked out, they're ready for the offseason. Guess we will see PCA , Canairo, Amaya, and maybe they'll call up Mervis and others to play this weekend.

They'd have toveat some salary but it could be done, or they could tell him if he opts in then they'll use him out of the bullpen

My opinion, should of left Assad in the rotation and used Stroman for late relief to help the depleted pen. For the most part the rotation hasn't been the problem, it been the bullpen and more specific the back end, those guys are on fumes.

I honestly don't think it matters much to the majority of them one way or other because they know they're not built to make any kind of run... yea they'd like to go but.....

Marlins with the Mets tonight and the Pirates over the Weekend are likely to go no worse them 2-2, I just dont see the Cubs winning 3 of 4 against the Braves and Brewers this weekend.

Not this team, how they managed to be where their at now is beyond me, but with no real stud Ace or solid 1-3 in rotation, no bullpen, and shaky offense getting pass the first round would be a miracle.
