There's a big big difference between the two though, the first one Kelly a slow footed catcher, wasn't running 270 feet to try and outrun a throw, a 3B coach should know his baserunners and know outside of a errant throw he going to be nailed, and also know who is coming up afterwards, which was Castro. There's being aggressive and theres being stupid, this send was being stupid.

I actually feel that the max they go with Tucker is 10/400, unless they front load money, I dont think theyll want to be paying Tucker 40+ mil while hes in his late 30s going into his 40s, he'll be 29 at the start of next season. Of course if TR plans on selling in the next 10 years then it could be different 🤷‍♂️😆

For me it just gives an idea on how they have been playing the last what 2 months, and continuing this pace isnt likely going to get them the division unless the Brewers fall flat. Hot start, mediocre middle, now they have to at least finish somewhere in between the two these last 52 games. 32 and 20 would be pretty good heading into the playoffs.

He will have more controllable players and money to spend on FA after the 2026 and more so 2027 season as he wont have many players under contract after 2026. This is just my thoughts and opinion on this matter.
