  1. Really hope this is a 2 year deal
  2. Heyward is not going to waive his NTC to play for a rebuilding Marlins team
  3. I'm surprised 2 teams traded for slot money back to back. Wonder if there's word that he wants more money, or if they're both desperate?
  4. [tweet] [/tweet]Seems like this is a done deal now [tweet] [/tweet]Maybe not [tweet] [/tweet]
  5. He looked good today THEY PUT UP 7 POINTS AGAINST PROBABLY THE WORST DEFENSE IN THE NFL
  6. Perfect ending and loss. And Trubisky is a bust.
  7. Think Rams OC Matt LaFleur and Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo are the names to watch as teams try and find the next Sean McVay
  8. Bears were favored by 5.5 but that was before the Beathard injury, wonder if that goes down with Garoppolo potentially starting?
  9. The 1-10 49ers and (probably) Jimmy Garoppolo come into Chicago against the 3-9 Bears. Should be a classic at Soldier Field.
  10. Yeesh The gould thing was all about saving money, right? They were tanking, knew they were bad and didn't see the need in paying top dollar for a kicker. Gould wasn't really good in 2015 & they ended up using that Gould money on Josh Sitton. The problem was keeping Connor Barth for as long as they did.
  11. @ProFootballDoc seems to think it might be an MCL tear but the Bears seem to think it's worse than that.
  12. Lovie (autotranslates to livid) was good but left a lot to be desired and the bears were right to move on after nearly a decade, but did a horrible job replacing him. Lovie was so much better than some give him credit for, though. Lovie was an okay coach at best that benefited from a ton of defensive talent. He wasn't very good at Tampa Bay and he's been a walking disaster in Champaign.
  13. Bears are 11 point underdogs and this will probably rise. Alshon Jeffery is going to take an absolute dump on this team.
  14. The thing about Trubisky that I liked coming out of college was his accuracy and that has not been there so far. I want to see him with a new coach and with weapons but I'd be lying if I wasn't concerned with him. The scramble was awesome though.
  15. MLB felt bad about the hacking penalties so rewarded the Cardinals with a competitive balance pick
  16. Oh good God
  17. No chance Fox gets fired 10 weeks into the season unless they want to give Fangio a chance
  18. He's so overrated
  19. Gonna be exciting to see who the Bears hire to replace Fox since they have such a good history of making the right decisions.
  20. I mean, that's not much worse than anything Trubisky has done. He's not good. he has 50 more yards in 2 more attempts then Hundley maybe its the play calling Most of Mitch's long gains are screen passes. He has maybe 1 or 2 passes downfield that have been worth a damn.
  21. I'm not so sure the Bears have the advantage at QB Yeah you’re right, the 5th round draft pick with a 1 TD/5 INT career ratio (1/4 this year) and 4.7 YPA (5.0 this year) for his career is obviously the better QB I mean, that's not much worse than anything Trubisky has done. He's not good.
