    In Des Moines, please no Maples No Maples, but Zastryzny gives up a hit in the 8th. Great game from Mills. His best in a while. 6 perfect with 4 Ks. Inspired by his brief call up? Mekkes gave up a single as well so a 2 hitter for Iowa Mills is like so much of the pitching in the farm in AAA and AA, occasionally trots out there and throws a gem making you think they are turning the corner. But more often than not the performances are meh

This is also the guy one of the Cob minor leaguers nearly killed with a line drive back up the middle. Can’t remember who the hitter was Caratini almost killed him
