    Burks is having an excellent start to the season. That BABIP has a lot of room to drop but the discipline is quite good and his ISO is consistently growing. He should have some decent trade value. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

    Look at the offense you could have put together this winter relatively cheap. C - McCann (128 wRC+) 1B - Thames (258) 2B - Phillips (139) SS - Cozart (213) 3B - Shaw (129) LF - Braun (153) CF - Haniger (200) RF - Bruce (148) That team could have been relatively cheap in terms of prospects/players swapped and you'd have to take on a few contracts but nothing crippling. The worst being Braun, but he still has the elite offensive ceiling. That offense would be insane right now. All of those players were shopped pretty heavily or traded this winter.     When every pitch is in the zone, there is no such thing as working the count. There's taking good pitches for the sake of taking pitches. This is exactly right. They have to be aggressive when he's pounding the zone with quality strikes like this. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

    11 Cubs have stepped to the plate 30+ times this season. 9 of them have produced a 113 wRC+ or better. These boys are horsefeathering rolling now. Zo looks like he's making stronger contact, and he'll join that group in no time. I like to call our offense, Devastator, when it's clicking and coming together. So fun to watch.     Justin Wilson's velocity is up a full mph to 96.4. He's getting ahead of hitters with a 63% F-strike, 3 points above his career high. His contact is down 7 points to 67, and in particular he has been nasty in the zone, lowering his Z-contact 10 points below his career average. It's too bad we weren't able to pry him from Detroit.

    Is it irrational to be concerned that maybe KBs swing-tinkering has had a negative effect? His average exit velo is down to 85 while the MLB average is 87. He is just not turning on the inside heat too often, as pitchers have repeatedly hammered him there. Just early noise or actual warning sign?
