  1. We basically haven't had Bryant for the last 40-50 days in my eyes
  2. From 39 bombs in 2016 to 39 bombs over the next 2 years combined horsefeathers the baseball gods
  3. Swarmer's numbers are very sexy, although he is a fly ball pitcher. But that's 104 IP now this year with a 114:17 KBB and 6 HR allowed. Not bad at all for a 584th pick just 2 years ago.
  4. We miss Rossy. We should throw him a deal.
  5. RBIs aren't dumb. Comparing players based on them is. I want my middle order hitters to rack up 120ish RBIs.
  6. Javy gonna become the first Cub to hit 300 with a 600 SLG since D Lee's marvelous 2005 season
  7. Good lord, throw horsefeathering strikes
  8. This was just natures way of letting me watch BCS undisctracted
  9. JFC Javy, when did either of those pitches look hittable
  10. Enough to still be the best offense in baseball when excluding pitchers? It's absurd how much you guys complain about the lack of home runs and try to diminish the quality ABs our batsmen bring to the field every day. This offense is awesome and you all should stfu about it.
  11. Marquez is pretty nasty, he was hitting 98 in the 7th with a sharp breaking ball
  12. What's pissing me off even more about the Smith whathaveyou is that we could have traded out of 9 and scooped up extra capital which would have made the eventual lack of a 2019 2nd much easier to navigate around. Only a handful of times in the last decade have I felt that there was a non-pass rushing LB who was a must-have, and Smith wasn't one of them. Hope of course that he proves me wrong but I always feel like a guy like that can be found in the middle rounds each and every year. It bugs me that Pace locks onto his guys and isn't willing to risk a move back to stack chips.
  13. Wow I haven't checked in on Villanueva in a long time. He's barely holding his head above a 700 OPS now.
  14. That dude cannot get on base. This return is shocking.
