So yesterday at the Trop was a lot of fun. Highlights include: Free parking at the brewery less than a 10 minute walk from the park Rays kicked their asses but I got to see some 113 bullets from Vlad First time being in attendance for an ejection(s) and benches clearing, although no fisticuffs First time I saw a team clinch in person, although only a playoff spot so there was not a huge celebration. Weird seeing it being business as usual for the Rays Group pic with DJ Kitty Lowlights: 8500 people don't make a lot of noise Their sound system is straight trash. There are no lows at all and the speakers at the roof sound like that kid pushing a Civic with house speakers in the back. Not sitting where a friend was because if I were I would have caught the ball Arozarena threw into the crowd between innings that cleared his hand by just a few inches and I'm about a foot taller than him and would have had it easily

Brennen didn't even make Law's honorable mention list for Prospect of the Year (20 players listed) but he ranked Triantos 2nd behind OF Jay Allen of the Reds for top 2021 draft pick performance

The lack of All Pro selections will hurt him/them Hester is the only of the 4 that I see getting in. He was just in a whole other stratosphere. Tillman forced more fumbles than you would ever expect from a CB but I'm not sure that's enough to make him a HOF. Hester will be our last HOF inductee for quite some time. I kind of don't think they'll vote him in on the first shot.

    I'm at full mast
  5. We Got The Whole 9
    Just old
  6. We Got The Whole 9
He did it in 300 fewer PA tho
  7. We Got The Whole 9
    But his false starts though...
  8. We Got The Whole 9
Had a perfect opportunity to get off the horsefeathering field. Come on defense.

They went through some freezing cold stretches vs MIA. Whether it was Korver or Bogans that couldn't hit the key 3 or Rose or whoever that couldn't get the layups to fall, there were long stretches of futility. We should have won that series. It felt like Udonis Haslem was a really big factor and really took away our scoring inside. And, obviously, LeBron. I was pretty fired up about the Noah pick because of his hustle and defense but I was definitely concerned that his game wouldn't translate well. But he was a lot of fun to watch at Florida, even though his offensive game was highly limited.

Elias says we are the first team to lose multiple games by 8+ runs in which we led by 7 Take that, Record Book!
  11. We Got The Whole 9
Minor technicality but they lost the Brewer game 15-7 lol

Velasquez had a really nice night also. Will never post a great BBK but he's sitting right under a 1.0 OPS in AA, surely opening some eyes.

There it is horsefeathering God awful season for Hendricks

I couldn't find it on my ESPN+ the day after. I figured that it would be archived. Is it only going to be available live?
  15. We Got The Whole 9
Wicks got beat up with 2 out and none on in both of his innings tonight. Anyone watch, have reports?

Thank you dude.

Thinking I have a pretty good shot at seeing Vlad bash number 50 on the 22nd
  18. We Got The Whole 9
Vlad Jr joins the exclusive 15 degree launch angle HR club. What a bullet. Where do I look to find the apex?
  19. We Got The Whole 9
Scherzer on the Dodgers is pretty terrifying Dude has a 72:5 KBB and just 2 HRA in 51 IP
  20. We Got The Whole 9
Nagy said Fields would have played more had the game been closer... It's impressive how he comes up with more reasons to hate him
  21. We Got The Whole 9
I really don't like Matt Nagy. That was a perfect opportunity to give your rookie some reps you dullard.
  22. We Got The Whole 9
Doubled them up in first downs and lead TOP by 8 minutes. Obviously that INT being the big swing play of the game thus far. But Nagy has called a pretty good game apparently.
  23. We Got The Whole 9
Probably need to pretend Robinson isn't on the field.
  24. We Got The Whole 9
    What a POS
  25. We Got The Whole 9
