  1. Gausman vs Gallen has been quite a treat. This is my first time watching either this season. Gausman has his splitter and Gallen the slurve, pinpoint control. Gallen pitched 7 1 hit innings in his last outing and now he's retired 14 in a row after Yaz led the game off with a single. Dude is nasty, does not seem like a rookie.
  2. I'll take the high pick honestly. But would we want Pace to make that choice?
  3. Lol @ letting Lester start this inning.
  4. Tom, you should just go back to PSD. Im pretty sure the guys who beefed with you there are gone.
  5. Not sure if you guys read the fg article on Devin Williams' change up https://blogs.fangraphs.com/devin-williams-and-the-unicorn-changeup/ Apparently this guys CH generates 400 more rpm than any other CH in baseball. Whats most notable is that the pitch was graded as a 40. Its movement is unparalleled and scouts only saw it as a 40.
  6. It fixed Willson, so you're welcome Not worth it. Ahem
  7. horsefeathers this prick. 40 pitches coming up.
  8. Precursor to Bauer
  9. That thing on the first pic is not actually a tat right? Like his kids did that with marker I hope.
  10. Bryant is a 3 outcome player ATM K Lazy fly Gb to 3b
  11. No, JD, just stop. They have horsefeathering suuuuuucked with the bases loaded
  12. It's like he didn't play with these guys and doesn't know that they're not cut out for this horsefeathers. I'm tired of it. And it just cost us a run.
  13. Teams really know us well and take advantage of our passivity on 3-1
  14. Oh... yeah, Willy... take hitting tips from Javy. What could go wrong.
  15. No, not really. David Montgomery had 267 which if done for 3 years would be 801. He was 12th in the NFL. I know times have changed. The red flag number used to be like 375 or so just a decade ago. But 265ish is far from being worrisome. In the same tier you'll find Jacobs, Hyde, Mack, Kamara - I don't see anyone worrying about their workloads. 2015 would be the last season that would fall into the top 10 (9th) I think I hear people worrying about how Kamara will hold up about once a week. Someone that is ranking in what would be the top 15 in RB touches in the NFL, for three years running, is going to have a lot of wear on their tires. Now, just because things used to be even more ridiculous a decade ago doesn't mean that RBs are aging well. RB careers are getting shorter even as their number of touches on average has decreased. That's just because teams have wisened up and realize that young RBs just tend to be better because they have more thread left (there are contract consideration at play here as well). This is all relative, of course. Some RBs just aren't as banged up and injured. Some are talented enough that they are still better than the league average even as the dents accumulate. ...but I don't think Fournette is the second coming of Adrian Peterson. He's had a lot of north-south NFL carries. I'd also say that Fournette isn't a great fit for a zone blocking scheme, but he still might be the best available option for the Bears at the moment. It is just crazy to me that 15+ touches per game is when you start entering the danger zone now. Anyway its all moot as the Bears showed no interest in him. No biggie.
  16. Man we can't even touch Derek Holland So bad against LHP
  17. Ian has been too good this year to talk horsefeathers to but holy horsefeathers that was garbage
  18. Well they sure fucked that one up didn't they
