Extending a 30 year old LB who's not a playmaker is just monumentally stupid IMO. Add in that he'd only played 46/64 games since signing with us and we had his 26 y/o ascending replacement in tow, its just totally irresponsible. Hated the move 100%. -
10-38 from their big 2 though, wow. Absolutely dismal.

TBF playing Karinchak straight and expecting contact to move things along isn't the best plan, he is legit Add Nico but yeah. Our guys are just not built for it. Happ isn't even that fast, nor does he get good jumps. Just a bad call IMO. I wasnt even aware that Perez is so deadly back there. Makes it even worse.

Brandon Workman allowed 29 hits in 71 IP last season. He's allowed 16 hits in his first 10 with the Phillies. Their bullpen is like twice as bad as ours.

Mariners give up a 2 run HR to Dubon. He didnt really start toward 1st and the announcer goes "he pulled that one way foul" as it lands in the seats about 30 feet fair of the pole if not more. The ball probably cleared the wall by about 10 feet and bounced way up in the bleachers. He corrects himself and says "oh he hit that about 40 rows deep"

Von Miller will miss the season after injuring a tendon in his foot on the last play of (the last) practice. Man thats some shitty luck.

The wheels have come off lately for Tepera but he still misses a ton of bats. It was great to see him have a pretty clean inning. Hopefully that gets him back into a groove. Underwood has been real good over his last 7 or so outings IIRC. He's solidifying his spot in the pen. Good job by our relief tonight.
