    Growth from Pat Williams and acquiring a PG would push them into playoff territory. Probably not enough to get them past the first round but Knicks fans had a lot to be excited over this year and unless you get another true superstar you usually need to crawl before you run They need some more shooters and big improvement on defense. How realistic are the chances of getting Lonzo?

    Been watching the highlights of his dongs and he's been handling a lot of pitches that he really failed massively on when with the Cubs. Granted it's basically a 2 weak tear he's on and he's still only at an 844 OPS... really seems like he'd be higher... but anyway I've seen him turn on a couple fastballs that were well above the zone, breaking balls on the outer half that he's gone oppo on. Dude is locked the hell in right now.

    Made the mistake of drafting him in fantasy a couple years ago and it was nice how he filled up the rest of the stat sheet, but infuriating to watch how freaking much he defers and especially cowers in the final quarter. And this dude is owed, what, 140-150m over the next 4 years? Yeeeeesh.

    Ben Wallace was slightly worse over an entire season. That Simmons stretch is 33.8%. Wallace was 80-238 for 33.6% in 2000-2001. Holy horsefeathers thats unspeakably awful. I knew he was bad but I didn't realize he was barely over 40% for his career.

    Seriously how is he still on the roster much less pitching in fairly high leverage situations? I'm confused. What is Andrew Chafin doing so well to earn Ross' unshakable trust? He doesn't miss bats, his K-BB is 10th in our pen, his SIERA and xFIP are about a run and a half or more above his ERA. Why is Brothers in the doghouse; thats the question we should be asking. Why are we seldomly using the guy who's 2nd behind Kimbrel in K-BB? What teams essentially dispose of guys who strike out 40% of the guys they face? Even his walks were mostly in clusters. He's been good. Undeserving of pitching once a week. Zach Davies was horsefeathering pathetic today and has been mostly all year. Inefficient, got barreled several times. Why did he get the 5th inning? He gave up a laser to a horrible hitting pitcher. He gave up well-struck singles to start the inning, got bailed on a pickoff, and proceeded to walk the next guy, another shitty hitter, on 5 mostly uncompetitive pitches. He didn't horsefeathering have it, yet Ross let him unravel unchecked for some reason.
