I've been a devout poster on the Cubs prosportsdaily forum for damn near 20 years and I know there's some posters here that used to post there and a few that still do. There was a mass exodus after a prominent poster was banned over something really ridiculous and that is a dark day in that forum's history because we lost a lot of great members. When I first heard about this place in 2016 and started lurking I was really blown away at the quality and quantity of posts. Eventually I started posting and I have to say that it is a tough nut to crack for a new user. You guys have a tightknit community and I really didn't feel all that welcome for a while, but I wanted to stick around because I really enjoyed the content, and, admittedly, I made a lot of dumb posts and complained too much about little things the Cubs players did that I didn't like while they were the closest thing to a juggernaut that they would ever be in my lifetime. Still, there were times where I definitely felt like you guys really didn't want any new members, although I may have just put my foot in my mouth a little too often. Maybe I'm too sensitive as well. I think this is a really great place. I am also curious to see how the new posters are treated. I believe this can be a great thing for the site and you guys have put in a lot of your time to keep this place active and interesting, so I hope that you are rewarded with even more great content; just might want to ease up on the hazing slightly IDK.
