His last 8-10 starts his metrics have actually been that of the exact type of pitcher a playoff team should want. Something like a 50:5 KBB. I'm optimistic. Get him while he's cooking. The Cubs send 10M back and the return could be quite good.

It may not be a negative thing. He looks like a guy who is a good bet to be a well above-average hitter. But I expect a large increase in grounders converted into outs at the MLB level.
