  1. Workman is the only offseason acquisition to have a good spring
  2. That 2004 team not making the playoffs was just about as disastrous as not making the WS in 2003. It was right freaking there. That last week of the season was a nightmare.
  3. Apparently it has been a real battle getting rest for them since getting back to the US, and it's showed. The offense has been nonexistent.
  4. It's possible that Zavala was playing through the injury for a spell, right? Or was he 67 all season? That is an insane increase.
  5. Giddey's in-season turnaround has been otherworldly. I have to believe nobody has ever flipped a switch and went from a 54 TS to a 65 at the break. At least from a high usage player. If he's this guy moving forward that is a huge, huge win.
  6. Jed didn't do enough to follow up after that trade. He should have landed more elite talent and not interesting-characteristic guys. Being a bridesmaid for Scott and Bregman was so Jed.
  7. Dug a little more. Dodgers and Cubs wore those jerseys in 2011. Definitey Pena. Valbuena came in 2012.
  8. Dodger Stadium definitely has those yellow seats though. Kauffman doesn't.
  9. Is that the Royals they are facing? They only played them in ST in 2014. Definitely didn't wear throwbacks for that.
  10. It looks like that was 2014 and Pena played with us in 2011, but that looks like his follow through and bat drop. Maybe it's Coghlan?
  11. I think you're right. That's a BLAKATA
  12. If I have sluethed right they wore these 1937 jerseys on the road in 2014 so that is some loser placeholder Theo strung along.
  13. Player nursing an oblique injury in his MLB debut takes tentative swings, no way
  14. Speaking of oppo power, I just watched a highlight of a college kid going oppo 517 feet. 108 EV 35 LA. Crazy wind-aided but a very rare sight to see.
  15. Can't wait to hear Cubs fans when Rosario mashes his way to AAA while Morgan langusihes as the 8th guy
  16. Jared Jones reported elbow discomfort and will miss a start
  17. I don't see #2. There's been 4 players to hit 3 HR on opening day. Tuffy Rhodes' accomplishment (and all of them off of Doc Gooden) tops Hendricks SHO pretty easily IMO.
  18. The way they do this series is just so stupid but it's MLB
  19. The Dodgers had an insane offseason but we did take the 6-game set from them last year. I am sure we will show a pulse.
  20. Kupp to the Lions is pretty terrifying. That is a nasty WR trio + an elite TE.
  21. Per Passan, Sasaki's splitter averaged just 518 RPM in his debut and IVB of -4. No splitter in the league compared in either category last year. It's a true unicorn pitch.
  22. He just needs to accept that they hate him
  23. So easy to get out of without much dead cap?
  24. Love the approach; a little skeptical of the personnel. That's a lot of money for unproven potential.
