  1. Holy horsefeathers his last pitch was 102.6
  2. Sorry man I don't think he has any interest in developing a 3rd pitch.
  3. Pomeranz has been a freaking revelation. 2 years away from the MLB and he has a .55 WHIP and 10 K9. Massive boon to the pen.
  4. What a horsefeathers offense man. The catcher production has been ridiculous. Huge props to Pomeranz. Hoyer absolutely nailed that pickup. And Palencia got a lot of whiffs there in the 9th. Feels amazing to win that one too.
  5. He can't get through the 5th even in clean starts. This was monumentally stupid of Counsell to pitch him in this inning. What the horsefeathers man.
  6. Wicks will be in Japan in a couple years. It's nice to finally have some interesting homegrown arms and we can start to sort of bandy about some future rotations without laughing to death.
  7. He's allowed 5 hr in 9 starts. He doesn't have big velo and he's always racked up big K numbers. It's pretty clear his pitches are hard to pick up and the deception helps his stuff play up.
  8. 107 stays in the park quite often. Especially when hit to center.
  9. I think it speaks to Abbott's stuff having deception if this many hitters just aren't getting around quick enough. They're just a tick late from pulling.
  10. Remember when we donged Skenes 3 times in 1 game? He hasn't been donged since. Just 4 times all year. He's so horsefeathers good. With that performance and that much control i have a hard time believing Busch, Horton, and Shaw get it done. Skenes would set a whole new precedent. He just hit the 200 IP mark for his career and he has a 2.1 ERA and matching periphs.
  11. Yeah averaged 98.2 in 2023 and he's at 96.3 the last couple years. I dont think its coming back, at least not this year.
  12. Most shocking player development since Sosa 98 or Lee 05. This dude just refuses to let the wave die. I'm convinced he's gonna hit 10 fwar if he stays healthy. I cannot imagine this team without PCA. He's the perfect balance for the patient offense, IMO.
  13. He's gonna get a Witt Jr contract, my goodness
  14. Somebody please get this man a keyboard with apostrophes
  15. Greene is gonna have a pretty comfortable lead
  16. Like JD said he also horsefeathered up the force play. Dumb play.
  17. One thing is for certain: the HRD literally cannot be worse than it was in 1990. Five total homeruns were hit that day LOL https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/remembering-the-amazingly-awful-1990-home-run-derby/
  18. He's been a crappy hitter for his whole career and I don't quite understand why they'd have any interest. Give Shaw a chance. I mean, come on.
