Our farm is such right now that if you want Skubal, I dont think you can take anyone off the table, and Shaw should surely be on the block (even though he would probably contribute pretty equal value to Bregman if you hadn't signed him and let Shaw have 3B and we could have used that money on Cease instead)

Hes not wrong about the 3rd time through penalty being more likely for Rea. You get 5 shutout from him, I think a team with a lockdown pen, would take it and run. But we dont have that; the chances that either he or the pen starts leaking are probably close to equal.

Skenes has a 6.5 ERA in the day and .5 in the night. He has a .3 WHIP in the night. I think we can scratch a couple off him but I'm not exactly confident in Rea.

Jesus I know it sucks that his development has been delayed significantly but he was never going to factor into much this year, not sure why we are declaring his career dead. Talk about extreme. If he's done for the season, it sucks, but it doesn't really change anything.

For the last 16 games the offense has basically been Dansby-level bad. Just maddening that they suffer these massive unit-wide slumps every year.

I bet on the Pirates today and im thinking of doing it for the next 2 days as well. Not sure when this offense is gonna break this horsefeathers. They are surely not this bad but they are apparently very easy to pitch to right now. The RISP hitting is at an all-time low.
