What if the DH happens to get hurt? Can they be replaced? Does it have to be someone from the bench or can a position player move there? I'm pretty sure the only way to change the DH without losing it is with people off the bench Correct

[tweet] [/tweet] So this list is for the rankings at the midseason mark in 2022 and I think the Cubs top prospect will be one of Brennen Davis, Cristian Hernandez or Ed Howard. All should be top 100 prospects by that point. It's hard to make a prediction that far out because prospects fail and/or get injured all the time. I'll probably go with Cristian Hernandez as the top prospect in our system (assuming good health and a full minor league season next year) in 2022.

[tweet] [/tweet] Whether you want to call it a controlled environment or a bubble, it's really important that MLB setup a proper system for the playoffs now where players can be monitored. The NBA bubble in Orlando is actually doing really well and Adam Silver has done the best job of any sports commissioner IMO. MLB and Rob Manfred need to follow their example and start working on this now.

There is still some hope for Jeremiah Estrada... He's the only possible impact prospect left from that draft. Yeah, I know the chances are pretty low of that happening. I'm not high on Cory Abbott (still useful and we need pitching depth). I didn't like how pitching-centric that 2017 draft class was either. Not a great job by the Cubs, but to be fair and fully accountable here, I really liked Brendon Little and wasn't upset we took him. I wanted Nate Pearson and that's what I wrote in the draft thread, but I didn't think it was a mistake taking Little there. I didn't really care for the selection of Alex Lange. If it were up to me I would've taken Nate Pearson and a position player (like Nick Allen or Mark Vientos) with our two picks in the 1st round. I liked Jeter Downs too.

Yeah. Dustin May looks crazy impressive so far. I posted some sick Tyler Glasnow gifs a little while ago and I love watching all these clips. I think it all took off with Yu Darvish and overlays of his pitches synced up a few years back. We really should just create a PitchingNinja Thread at this point.

Updated Cubs Top 30 prospects list: 5. Ed Howard 11. Burl Carraway 21. Jordan Nwogu I thought Ed Howard would be one spot higher, but I guess Jim Callis changed his mind. Same thing with Burl Carraway. I don't think Luke Little is that close to joining the list. Jim Callis seems pretty down on him right now.
