  1. The batflips (and the weird spins in the batter's box) are so awesome in the KBO.
  2. [tweet] [/tweet][tweet] [/tweet]I don't think they interviewed Craig Hodges for this doc and that's a damn shame. I never knew he was blackballed out of the league until much later.
  3. [tweet] [/tweet] Great article. I was already rooting for the Lotte Giants, but I'm going to take a more active interest in them now. They're pretty big underdogs this year and they don't have the best ex-MLB talent on hand... Former Cubs pitcher Dan Straily is on this team lol.

  5. I had no idea MJ wanted to sign with Adidas... [tweet]https://twitter.com/forhummingbird/status/1257197415431458816[/tweet] [tweet] [/tweet][tweet] [/tweet]
  6. I'm definitely rooting for the Lotte Giants. They hired former Cubs scout Sung Min-kyu as their new GM. Yeah, I'll definitely watch some games if ESPN comes to an agreement with KBO and its broadcast partners.
  7. [tweet] [/tweet][tweet] [/tweet]Well done lol.
  8. [tweet] [/tweet] That's awesome lol
  9. I would love to see Yadi end his career with another team after getting into a dispute about properly being paid with the Cardinals lol. Please end your career with the shitty Marlins.
  10. I'm not familiar with Matt Lloyd and any draft picks associated with him? What draft picks have we taken where analytics came into play or were part of the evaluation? Doug McDermott was a good outside shooter, but analytics said not to take him so high because his steal and block rate was so low in college. Like I really don't think the Bulls ever used advanced analytics when it came to drafting players... Well no one knows exactly how influential he was, but his last draft with the Bulls was 2011, which was immediately followed with Teague, Snell, McDermott. Good summary, and mentions vaguely use of analytics. https://www.blogabull.com/2015/5/18/8610703/why-the-bulls-no-longer-draft-successfully-the-loss-of-matt-lloyd-and The next 3 picks were bad and the McDermott selection was really bad... I read the article, but some of those earlier picks are no-brainers like Derrick Rose (you don't need analytics to tell you DRose is awesome lol). Joakim Noah is such a weird player, but he went about where he was suppose to go according to most experts. I think analytics would not be high on him (subpar wingspan for a big with an unorthodox release on his jumpshot). I heard Forman was the main reason behind the Bulls taking Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler. I follow the Bulls pretty closely and I've never heard of this Matt Lloyd dude. I'm sure he helped, but the Bulls have long been known around the league for being behind in analytics/R&D.
  11. I definitely think the process is going to be different now with Karnisovas and Eversley in charge. I don't think the Bulls really used analytics when it came to scouting draft prospects. I honestly wouldn't mind them trading down if Karnisovas doesn't see a player he really likes at the top of the draft. Matt Lloyd who was credited a lot with their good drafts was apparently an early analytics adapter, whatever that meant 8 years ago or whenever he left. 12. More from this mock draft: I definitely think the process is going to be different now with Karnisovas and Eversley in charge. 13. LaMelo is the youngest one and is considered the most talented player in the family. Scouts and execs inside basketball have been following him for years.
  14. In his latest mock draft, he has the Bulls taking LaMelo Ball... Not a big fan and I wouldn't be happy with that choice. I think he'll be an okay PG and is an excellent passer. I just doubt he'll ever develop into a star/impact player in the NBA because he isn't a great scorer or shooter. Questions about his defense too.
  15. [tweet] [/tweet]This is a great clip lol.
  16. [tweet] [/tweet][tweet] [/tweet]I'm glad we have more diversity in the Bulls upper ranks now.
  17. [tweet] [/tweet][tweet] [/tweet]Lol

  19. Pretty entertaining series of tweets... last one is really good lol: [tweet] [/tweet]
