  2. I'll give the new Bulls regime the benefit of the doubt (and I like Karnisovas), so maybe moving up helps? Getting pick #7 again would indeed be ridiculous.
  3. Yeah, it looks like it. It doesn't really make a difference this year anyway...

  5. Awesome news and a great hire. Bulls have been on a surprisingly good run of recent hires. Good stuff.
  6. Shocker where the first negative reply came from: [tweet] [/tweet] Yup. Easily the worst fanbase in baseball. At least he didn't mention some "BlueLivesMatter" [expletive] or something like that.
  7. I knew Sean Doolittle would write something great about this current moment. Totally agree
  8. Yeah, I knew these moves were coming... Some of these guys were pretty close to minor-league FA anyway. I've had some terrible conversations about the state of the minor leagues. If people don't already know by now -- there isn't going to be a real minor league season this year. Complex games and intrasquad stuff, but that's it. It really sucks and I'm worried (and so are many scouts and people who work for minor-league affiliates). Lost development time, but also lost opportunities going forward for many lower-ranked prospects and organizational type players. A lot of those players in the list (and on other lists) were depth for teams in the minors. For owners, the logic is no minor league season so what's the point? And more news like this is coming. Probably 600-800 players getting released in the coming months...
  9. [tweet] [/tweet] Good article. Yeah, this is going to be difficult no matter what... I really hope no player contracts the virus during the NBA postseason.
  10. Whenever I read about wife swapping lol:
  11. I hope this doesn't affect their relationship too significantly... Charles Barkley and MJ still aren't talking after a remark from a few years back. I think Scottie was portrayed in a bad light and the youngest generation (Gen Z) now has an incorrect perception of him. Scottie was a great teammate and a selfless player, and had legitimate gripes about his contract. The doc definitely made him look bad.
  12. I haven't finished this, but the beginning was pretty interesting. Mariners is such a better team name over the super lame "Pilots".
  13. He got lots of interviews, but they didn't spend a ton of time on his game, I think was Regular Show's point. Makes sense that he got a lot of air time though. Scottie is kind of dull to listen to. Rodman was probably hell to get to focus. Harper and Kukoc are fine to listen to, but Kerr is definitely a good interview. They didn't even include Longley... Yeah, I don't think they mentioned how incredible a shooter Kerr was in the doc? He was a key role player on the team, and I didn't fully appreciate him until I got older. I really wanted more Kukoc and Kerr. Also, they weren't going to travel to Australia to interview Luc Longley (that's why he isn't featured in the doc). They had to travel all the way to Montana to interview Phil Jackson lol. Kerr is really articulate and always gives great interviews. He understands the game and team dynamics really well and gives thoughtful answers. The question about whether they discussed what happened to their fathers never even registered with me until this doc.
  14. I actually prefer it this way. I wouldn't want to hear from him... Steve Kerr on the other hand. Yeah, I wish they featured him way more.

  16. Maybe he hasn't been a problem thus far, but I say give it some time lol.
  17. I feel like he's going to end up being a bigger, taller version of Ricky Rubio, unfortunately. Amazing passing ability and court vision, but he won't score enough or be efficient. Also, if you draft LaMelo then you have to deal with his father (LaVar Ball):
  18. He has LaMelo Ball ranked #1 followed by Anthony Edwards and then James Wiseman. I guess LaMelo is becoming the consensus best prospect in this draft class. I think they have him ranked #1 over on ESPN as well. I have no idea how the new Bulls FO views this draft class, but they have plenty of time to review tape and conduct interviews. Saddiq Bey is ranked 16th and is slowly moving up. I'm honestly not sure when the NBA is going to hold their draft because draft-day trades happen involving players on team rosters, so you can't do it until the regular season (and playoffs) are over... The regular season might not continue or resume, but the NBA playoffs will happen at some point. Maybe in July? It feels like MLB will start their season before the NBA, and Adam Silver seems more cautious about when they start up again.
  19. I still to this day have never seen a player do one-handed pump fakes so well. I think the only one who can palm the ball like MJ is Kawhi Leonard.
