  1. And Perreira somehow agreed with the ref. “Well it looked like a block in the back.” Whatever. Yeah I don't get it meanwhile Miller got facemasked twice on that same play and you can easily see both yet they weren't called.
  2. While missing an easy facemask call on Cowboys
  3. What the horsefeathers kind of throw was that????
  4. They'll call that roughing the passer, but somehow missed the hit to the head on Trubisky.
  5. Just curious if refs ever call a holding on whoever guards Mack this season so far?
  6. Holding and hands to face were the 2 plays right before so it was 1st and 30 before the OPI.
  7. You know he's just talking about those #s after 20 games as "scary similar" right? That's it. He's not talking about their swings, the type of prospect they are, etc...
  8. My comp would be a young DeAndre Jordan/Emeka Okafor. I saw somewhere (maybe ESPN during draft) that Chandler was a comp for Gafford which works as well. A more realistic comp of Gafford is Stromile Swift. Tony Battie, Bo Outlaw, and Andris Biedrins are a couple others I had in mind as well. All were pretty useful players. Even though their numbers were almost identical at Arkansas, I like Gafford more than Portis when he came out, but Portis proved me wrong that he would develop that outside shot as well as he has so far.
  9. Thank god the Bulls didn't do what Jalen Rose "proposed" (and hinted that there were insider info on this) earlier today which was 7th pick and LaVine for 4th pick and Ball.
  10. They're injured, not Disabled. As someone who has a disability (deaf), I always cringed when they say it or it was showed onscreen. It didn't bother me that they HAD to change the wording, but I know a lot of other disabled people that wanted them to.
  11. it is, but he’ll be used a lot more than just as a returner Yeah he did a little bit of everything with the Pats last year. Patterson will help with both RB and WR depth, and obviously as a returner. I really like this move. Yeah I just looked up his #s with the Pat's. Didn't realized he had that many touches. I thought he was just a returner these days. Still think it's too much for a guy like him, but I feel better now knowing he's still involved in the running/passing game.
  12. Wtf? That's insane for a returner.
  13. there wasn't a single aspect of that thread that was not embarassing Did Da Bum win this? Speaking of, my buddy Brian finally told me a story about him about complaining some stupid horsefeathers at the office that had nothing to do with Windermere. He said he got more about him, but he won't tell me.
  14. I think he's getting the opt outs, but it's more year 5-7 instead of 2-4. Heck it could be possible that Philly isn't even giving him an opt out.
  15. The only way it's in his interest is if there's not a mega-longterm deal, which seems unlikely. The only other explanation (and this wouldn't be in his best interest), is if pride (or Boras) won't allow him to accept a contract smaller than Macahdo. I don't know for sure how unethical Boras is, but I wouldn't be shocked to find that he'd council a player to choose 3 years at the highest AAV in history over 10 years at the second highest AAV in history. What's funny is that these records are going to be broken most likely in the next year or 2 depending on Trout getting an extension or becoming a FA. I guess Harper could say that I held the record at one point or Trout doesn't care about that.
  16. this isn't real, is it? i am not the rumor man i am the tree man https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/21/health/tree-man-bangladesh-surgery-intl/index.html
  17. Surprisingly there's a huge sport cards following in this area. It's crazy. That store always has someone coming in to do autographs, etc. Last weekend was JSA to do authentications. Mike Montgomery and Chris Coghlan are doing autograph sessions the next 2 weekends iirc. I'm only 30 miles away and I'm seriously thinking of going there Sat to get a ball signed.
  18. Drafting kickers is dumber than bringing back the guy who hit an upright 5 times in a season. But still a better gamble then keeping him This. Plus I want an actual kicker who can actually kick a FG 50+ yards consistently. Parkey had a hell of a time just kicking for the high 40s yarders.
  19. Would you play the odds and keep him? Im ready to draft high on a kicker I'm fine with either draft or just get a vet min type guy. They can't be worse than what we got this season and granted, Parkey won't do it again, but he had his chance. It's not like a Gould, Crosby, Gostkowski type of situation where they've been on the team for a few years so you would stand by your K. If I was Pace, I would cut him tomorrow.
