  1. Greene is such a disappointment. Athletically he has everything he needs. Apparently its intellect that he is lacking. A 4th round pick out of Rutgers, he's not that much of a disappointment. I mean it in terms of his athletic ability, but yeah, he's still a 4th rounder. After last year, I thought he needed to lose 10-15 lbs and convert back to a SS. He needs to be back there so the play is in front of him most of the time.
  2. Harbaugh and Ryan won't work well together and I'm sure both know that. Besides, Ryan is going to get a HC job next year, if he wants one. Plus we don't have the personnel to run Rex's D.
  3. Please don't I don't even... Wtf is a spec? Is this some new slang? Get off my lawn!? :-k Prospect Thanks for the interpretation seems real dumb, kids these days seem to have a problem using real words. LOL #-o ... I just now noticed that. I've been reading several articles last night on prospects that it had the word "specs" in quite a few of them. My bad.
  4. Stud reliever has to be either Storen or Clippard. Maybe Barrett. As far as pitching prospects, who is there after Giolito and Cole? I know Purke, but I think he had TJS this year. That's all I know in that system. EDIT: I actually used "specs" instead of prospect. What a [expletive] idiot.
  5. This x1834759124590 The only INT I'm remotely pissed off about (regardless of the situation and shitty timing) is the Kyle Williams pick. The overthrow irks me somewhat, but every QB will overthrow one by a mile and he was overthrowing a bunch that day. The others? You got Brandon Marshall tipping one up in the air and another bounce off Tramon Williams and flew like 10 yards right at Clay Mathews. Then you got 2 more that were "miscommunication". Heck I'm more pissed off that Cutler has fumbled like 6 times already more than the INTs.
  6. Cheap way to keep the asbestos under control. Unless they classified it as the lowest rating, they would had to bring in someone to take care of it. I'm not sure if they put asbestos in concrete or the coating over the steel (to prevent rust and whatnot). If so, then yeah I could see them spray while they're tearing it down because of that, but it's mainly to knock down the dust so it's not all over the neighborhood. What kind of machinery have they been using? I've only seen the claw looking one. Are they using a big saw to cut the concrete/steel? If so, they would spray on that so it won't overheat as it's cutting.
  7. So what's the % that Rondo will be traded this year? Seems like he's supposed to get traded in the past 4 years, but this is probably the year where he will be. Simmons think he will be traded to Knicks. LOL He had the trade going like this: Knicks get Rondo/Gerald Wallace Celtics get big man Amar’e Stoudemire, shooting guard Iman Shumpert, a 2018 first-round draft pick and one protected “pick swap” within the next five years.
  8. I think he's on pace for like 424 carries. Larry Johnson has the all time single season record with 416. That's just [expletive] insane.
  9. I lost my fantasy game 98-97 because of that pick 6 while leaving T.Y. Hilton on the bench. hooray. Yeah, I lost because of the pick 6 by 2 points and in my other league because of the extra point after the pick 6, I lost by 0.5. That was awful. I had one of the worst loss ever 2 years ago. It was week 14 (our playoffs were 15/16) and I playing a guy who had the same record as me. Whoever wins goes to the playoffs. After Monday night, I was winning by .5 pts. Weds came around and they had their stat correction. I ended up losing by .03! Basically he beat me by a yard. This year I lost by .28 as well.
  10. I have a really, really hard time believing that Durant only weighs twenty pounds less than Ilgauskas, who is 7-foot-3--thus six (six!) inches taller than Durant. As another comparison, using the sources you listed, Lebron James weighs 249-250 pounds. Something's wrong here, because I think it's fair to say "no way" does Lebron only weigh ten more pounds than Durant. Edit: Want to be clear that I'm not questioning your use of sources (because ESPN/NBA/Wikipedia are all legitimate). Just that I think we should be dubious of something here. I believe after his diet this summer, Lebron is at 255-260ish so it's somewhat close now. I saw it in an article about it and how the past 2 years he was up to 270-275 with the Heat because he needed to post more often and needed the weight. But anyway, they always have the height/weight wrong for a lot of these players for a long time and never update. I remember when Dennis Rodman was playing, he was listed as 6'9". Charles Barkley was listed at like 6'7". Shaq was 285 forever until the last couple years where they changed it to 325. It's not just in the NBA either. LaMarr Houston is still listed at 300 lbs even though he said this offseason when he signed with the Bears that he's in the 270s. That being said, I always took the height/weight with a grain of salt.
  11. "Hey Jay, you do know you can pass to Morgan or Holmes right?"
  12. In not sure about Lopez but Yao and Ilguaskas had multiple different and chronic injuries. Despite that Ilguaskas had like a 20 year pro career. And didn't Yao have a Brandon Roy-esque degenerative knee? Lopez had either a Jones or Lisfranc fracture this past season. I can't remember what it was in 2011 or 2012 (whenever he missed time), but I'm pretty sure it was the same foot. Ilguaskas IIRC had injuries on both ankle/foot. Ming for example had osteomyelitis in his left big toe in 2005 and had surgery because it was chronic. A year later he broke a bone in his left foot. Then he broke his right knee the year after that which seems to be a fluke thing. In 2008, he had a stress fracture in his left foot. Had another stress fracture in the same foot in the 2009 playoffs. Then a stress fracture in his left ankle in 2010 which ended his career. The right knee was a fluke, but the rest of his injuries were the same ankle/foot.
  13. A severe Jones fracture can be pretty bad. I could see the 10-12 weeks if it's that severe. Pretty sure Brook Lopez had it midway last season and was out for the year. Might've had it again a couple years ago when he missed time, but I'm not sure if it was the same thing. CJ McCollum had surgery last offseason and didn't make it back until Jan sometime. Julius Randle had something similar I believe back in high school. I remember someone bringing it up about his medicals around draft time. Of course it could be career ending. All fractures on your feet can refracture because of all the stress you put on it. Remember Zydrunas Ilgauskas?? It wasn't exactly career ending for him, but he had a lot of problems. Not saying that'll happen to Durant, but it "could".
  14. Eventually Arkansas is going to win against a ranked team. It's only like their 6th matchup this year against one and been very competitive in all, but the 2nd half against Auburn.
  15. i don't even look at playoff scenarios until like week 12. no point. It'll be week 10 for me after the GB game.
  16. They also loved Houston Can't win em all. Who says they're wrong? Exactly. He has been doing his job IMO. Yeah the #s aren't showing up, but he's doing what he's supposed in most of his plays and that's why PFF loves Houston. Plus isn't he like 5th-6th in QB hurries/hits before today?
  17. 447 with the Broncos in 2008. His only 400 yard game. His 2nd highest total was 372 against the Lions in 2009 Thanks. I was thinking that he hasn't done it as a Bears and this would be the career high.
  18. Cutler almost at 400 yards. What's his career high?
  19. Perry is still on the team? WTF???
  20. I didn't see a football "move" or 2 steps while having possession. I thought they made the right call there.
  21. We already got too many wins.
  22. conte should just retire after this game.
  23. If Bears lose today, they better not win more than 6 games and get a top 10 pick.
  24. My buddy called me last night at 9 and said he got an extra ticket/place to stay for me if I wanted to come. Drove 10 hours through the night to his place, got 2 hours of sleep, and been partying since. It's nuts here. On my way to the stadium now.
