I have a really, really hard time believing that Durant only weighs twenty pounds less than Ilgauskas, who is 7-foot-3--thus six (six!) inches taller than Durant. As another comparison, using the sources you listed, Lebron James weighs 249-250 pounds. Something's wrong here, because I think it's fair to say "no way" does Lebron only weigh ten more pounds than Durant. Edit: Want to be clear that I'm not questioning your use of sources (because ESPN/NBA/Wikipedia are all legitimate). Just that I think we should be dubious of something here. I believe after his diet this summer, Lebron is at 255-260ish so it's somewhat close now. I saw it in an article about it and how the past 2 years he was up to 270-275 with the Heat because he needed to post more often and needed the weight. But anyway, they always have the height/weight wrong for a lot of these players for a long time and never update. I remember when Dennis Rodman was playing, he was listed as 6'9". Charles Barkley was listed at like 6'7". Shaq was 285 forever until the last couple years where they changed it to 325. It's not just in the NBA either. LaMarr Houston is still listed at 300 lbs even though he said this offseason when he signed with the Bears that he's in the 270s. That being said, I always took the height/weight with a grain of salt.
