    I wonder if he still would've been suspended if he stepped on any other NFCN QB instead of Rodgers? I'm glad he got suspended as he deserved it, but can't help think that part of it was Rodgers. I mean did Suh get fined or suspended for any of hits on Cutler? I wanna say he got fined, but not suspended. I don't think he got anything from that leg sweep wrestling move on Cutler which was just complete [expletive].

    why were you trying to talk to a stranger at a bar? I didn't talk to him. Never wanted to. I hung out with some of the football players at that time (Ray Williams/Dorien Bryant/Stanford Keglar/Dustin Keller) and they all said he's an ass. Just saw others try to talk to him and him saying "[expletive] off" or "why are you talking to me?"

    Not a favorite memory, but I turned 21 when it was Orton's senior year at Purdue so I went to the bars A LOT that year and EVERY SINGLE TIME I would see Orton out just getting annihilated. Dude was a complete douchebag too. If you weren't a football player or a girl, he would tell you to [expletive] off once you try to talk to him.

    Is there any ST coaches that went up as HC (past or present)?? Only asking cuz it seems rare that a ST coach ends up being HC.

    I'm guessing it means that George is the one deciding on who is fired/staying so anyone from Phillips on down could be gone. Would that be that news worthy? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I assume that McCaskeys hasn't been that hands-on with decisions before. It could mean that he's also going to do the interviews and decide who to hire as well? Is it news worthy? I'm not sure.

    i think they insist on Baez / Russell as centerpiece; i'd obviously be willing to part with Baez & one of Almora/Johnson/Vogelbach re Shields, i think i recall seeing his agent wants 5/110...i'll laugh when he inevitably 'settles' for 5/80 Seriously? Baez + (1 of those 3 guys) for 1 year of Ben Zobrist who will be 34 in May???? Are you kidding me? I like Zobrist as much as the next guy, but holy cow, what an overpay. You do realize you're talking about a top 10 prospect (Baez) and then basically a top 100 prospect or fringy for Zobrist. We got that package for Shark and Hammel. apparently you are unfamiliar with sneaky's position on javier baez. Just because he doesn't like him/think he's a bust already/etc means you should just throw him in for 1 year of Zobrist.

    Am I in the Bleacher Nation comments? I don't get it. The odd sentencing or do you think it's a horrible offer?(I don't read comments there) No need to add Johnson/Edwards in there. Heck Voggy in it might be too much. I honestly don't see much difference between Valbuena/Zobrist except Zobrist can play OF, but Cubs have Valbuena for 2 more years and he's 4 years younger.

    What does that say about Emerys status that he is able to extend guys right now. Garza blows. The only justification is that garza is considered a leader for the Bears. But with how dysfunctional they've been he can't be too great of a leader. I have to think it has something to do with this season not being over and having spare cap space to use, and also that it is a very small commitment that didn't really require confirmation that Emery will or will not return. Not to mention that the dead money will be 200k or less so they can cut him at any time really.
