  1. They may need to get a variance on the zoning for that. It'd be kinda funny if it were declined. Isn't that the guy that just got into trouble with his books?
  2. He's always amazing in Football Mogul so...
  3. Just got home from the Pacers/Bulls game and I've been lurking around here for awhile now. You guys were right about Hinrich. Holy hell... how does he still have a job?
  4. Doesn't matter all that much since weather still sucks around this time for the northern teams so they're still on the road most of the time (although not nearly as long). Can't really move it back too much either because that means you're starting the tournament around mid-late June instead of late May and CWS would be in July sometime unless you shorten the season. MLB Draft is early June. You're messing with the deadlines for draftees and whatnot.
  5. That's just insane. For a [expletive] boxing match...
  6. Kyle Hendricks finish in the top 5 in CYA.
  7. You mean the Rob Lowe / DirecTV thing? I hate that it is all over the place. That too, but no... it's where Chris Paul has a twin brother who is a state farm agent. Now it expanded to Stephon Curry, Damien Lilliard, Sue Bird, & someone else. It was bad because it wasn't the commercials last night. It was that they actually had promos in the All Star Saturday.
  8. Take the average of your scores? Because if you rotate, 1 guy could have 6 dunks made & another with just 4 because he missed a couple so total score wouldn't work. Or do the next guy has to wait till the guy before makes one? Plus this is somewhat similar to the mid 90's where each guy had 90 secs to do as many dunks then it goes to the next guy. Biggest problem is not getting the superstars in there like they used to. They're the ones who are going to bring in the crowd. At least bring one in who is somewhat well known. Skills challenge was the same way this year. You had Lowry & Teague who some know & like a bunch of rookies. Also what happened to ALL the all stars & other NBA players that used to watch the contest from the sideline? Are they not required to be there anymore? I barely saw any last night. I saw Cousins & Davis & someone else by the bench. Then you had guys who played earlier behind them. That was it. Same with celebrities. I remember how all of them would jump out of their seats, make crazy faces, etc. after a good dunk. Another thing is the State Farm alter ego is just ridiculously stupid. I saw way too much of that last night.
  9. What should they do? They had a ton of different formats over the years. Seems like they change it every 2 years or so. They tried to change it last year and it was just HORRIBLE IMO. They used to have a time limit for getting a dunk in, but it was way too long. Then they used the whole "just keep going until you make one" which is just shitty because you got to see Nate Robinson have about 15 attempts for his final dunk (in a tie-breaker no less) in 2006 and somehow beat Iguodala. Lets not even talk about the fan voting in the finals. Mid 90s had 90 secs to get as many dunks as you can and the judges grade you on all the dunks you made. Does anybody remember the stupid spinning wheel in 2002 where the dunkers had to imitate one of the legends dunk? Personally, I think they need to do best 2 out of 3 dunks (whether it's both rounds or just the final) so if you do screw up on one, you still got a chance to advance/win. They did that in 2000 when Vince won it all then they did it from '91-'93. Another thing they need to do is quite getting crappy guys for the dunk contest. WTF is Plumlee in the contest this year for? Even Giannis I have somewhat an issue with. I know he's the Greek Freak and really tall/long, but he never strike me as someone who could thrive in the dunk contest. Somehow they need to get more higher profile stars or guys who can get pretty creative to play in it. Also need to go back to 6 players and then 3 guys in the finals.
  10. I keep thinking Jose Hernandez as a comp for Baez.
  11. Yeah that was great. Everyone had to know it was going to be Lavine/Victor in the finals before tonight.
  12. he's doing SEC network, isn't he? How else is he going to see Katherine Webb?
  13. http://25.media.tumblr.com/5ca907646597998aed98a8eb0c81b36e/tumblr_mjzjly5m5J1r2op6ko1_500.gif
  14. I'll take that just mainly on Ray/Perryman. Can anyone tell me about Smith/Harper?
  15. Treatment for what? Being a douche?
  16. Tom Brady should just retire and go out like that. Can't get any better than that for him.
  17. WTF? Why did you not run that?
  18. I'm convinced that prevent defense should never ever be in another defensive playbook ever again.
  19. You do realize that if Russell goes to LF that you are moving him in the middle of a [expletive] season right?
  20. or at least give them google glass that can show them the strike zone and other info.
  21. Eh... Just have the SS behind 2B and slighty left when the pitcher is getting ready. As soon as the pitcher starts his windup, the SS is free to move right? I feel like you can get around this pretty easily where by the time the hitter hits the ball, you got 3 infielders on the right side. Heck even putting the SS right behind and slighty left of 2B still allows the 2B to move closer to 1B and play deep.
  22. RIP Mr. Cub. You guys know what this means right? Cubs are going to win it all this year.
