This kind of quote makes me laugh. When games are won or lost based on which team has a better ops, let me know. yeah, before you know it these clowns are going to say that the game is also based on whoever scores more runs. ridiculous. absolutely ridiculous.

Just because they haven'tshown their age yet, doesn't mean they aren't going to start to soon. He voiced a very reasonable and relevant concern. Players decline as they get older. It's just a matter of when they start and how quickly it happens. An aging lineup is always at least a concern.

seriously? Yes seriously. They waived goodbye to 2 of their biggest stars in Ordonez and Carlos Lee, and another, Frank Thomas was a non factor for nearly the entire season. The replace them with Scott Podsednik, AJ Pierzynski, and Jermaine Dye. they won because of pitching. the white sox had a below average offense in 2005. -

by the way, the hawks just jumped way ahead of san jose for best goal differential in the nhl. before tonight the hawks were +21 and the sharks were +23. right now the hawks are +28 with the sharks all the way down to +16. pretty awesome

You clearly compared the 2 lineups. I'm not sure how you're going to deny that. If you weren't comparing the Cubs lineup to the Yankees lineup, then bringing it up was pointless. Nobody said an aging lineup was automatically a problem. He was clearly talking about the Cubs specifically and this group of players. So yeah, bringing up the Yankees was either a comparison to the Cubs, or it served no purpose. The Yankees old guys have produced. The original post the guy made was clearly voicing concern over how well the CUBS players would age. You know that some players can produce into their late 30's, and some can't..... right?
