  4. buff is looking lazy again
  5. kane's passing has been amazing this season
  6. In 2008 Bradley was an extremely productive player. Career wise he has only been above average. Yeah dude, extremely productive. He was only 16th on his team in VORP last year, between Aaron Heilman and Esmailin Caridad (I am not sure if pitchers VORP and hitting VORP can be compared and ranked against one another but whatever) If OPSing .999 isn't extremely productive, I have no idea what is. How would you define extremely productive? i think umfan confused 2008 for 2009
  7. they definitely have been a different team since then
  8. 14-4 in shots already

  12. embarrassing performance by the steelers tonight
  13. that only costs the bullpen like one inning every 5 games
  14. The Braves dealt Rafael Soriano to the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday in exchange for right-handed reliever Jesse Chavez, whom the Rays landed in the Akinori Iwamura deal earlier this offseason, according to ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney. Ah, the constant shuffling of relief parts -- confused yet? I figured everyone would know which Soriano
  15. ESPN says Soriano was traded to the Rays
  16. absolutely ridiculous that vdn hasn't been fired yet
  17. Rich Harden's last 12 starts of 2009- 67 IP 44 H 31 BB 88 K .593 OPS against 2.55 ERA 1.12 WHIP And yet somehow a guy who is coming off major shoulder and missed all of last season is a safer option?
  18. Ben Sheets!!!!!!!!!! Oh please oh please oh please oh please!!! Sheets would definitely be a nice pick up, i'd rather have sheets than Harden. Both are injury prone and can go on the DL at any given moment but at least when healthy, sheets isn't a 5 inning pitcher. Exactly! Plus, Sheets has had the surgery. Harden has not had the surgery. Wait, so coming off surgery is better than not coming off surgery?
  19. the mystery team is the caucasians. bradley is being traded to the whites so he can stay in wrigley and people will love him
  20. I would reject that with the swiftness of a thousand cheetahs ... and the Twins would take that over what they got for Johan Santana with even less hesitation than that. Why do you always bring on the Santana package like it's the new starting point for trading for an ace? That clearly was a botched up situation and not a true indication of that kind of player's value, yet you constantly bring it up when talking about Halladay.. as if we're ridiculous to think the package that gets him isn't going to be like the one the Mets got. Just because one team screwed up a trade for an ace in recent years doesn't mean you need to start talking about it every time an ace is on the market.
