  1. i love how the announcing on this possession is making it sound like it's the end of the first half and not the final seconds of a 1 point championship game
  2. HE THREW HIM TO THE GROUND
  3. but he looks like a pitcher now
  4. that wasn't a flagrant, but i'd be willing to bet that it would have been called that way if the teams were reversed
  5. of course duke get the jump ball even though he was calling timeout
  6. typical pathetic officiating helping duke
  7. unless you want them in the first round, we should be rooting for detroit to win
  8. By pitching well. I suspect they like Marshall in the Pen because of his prior success there and limited success for Marshall as a starter. I also suspect they like another lefty in the pen. Silva has had success as a starter not a reliever. You earn a spot by pitching better than the other options. Marshall easily outperformed him. And we have 3 lefites in the pen now. They gave a ridiculous amount of money to a lefty this offseason. Marshall being a lefty shouldn't have anything to do with it. Oh, and it's arguable if Silva even pitched well this spring. So did everyone else on this board. I don't know why you keep talking about this imaginary group of posters. I don't keep talking about it. You do. You continue to bring him up and ask me about him. You seem obsessed. haha. that is literally the first time i've mentioned hart to you. it seems like your imagination gets the best of you.

  10. I still want him to explain how Silva earned the starting spot over Marshall.
  11. it's crucial that we have marshall available to come in and eat up 2 1/3 innings after the starter only goes 3 and leaves with the cubs down 7-2.
  12. worst comparison ever
  13. What did he do to earn a spot in the rotation over Marshall?
  14. i dont know if i'd want to trade him if we had to eat any of the contract really
  15. All I know is I'm sick of Greg Amsinger and his blatant biad toward the Cards and against the Cubs. Plus the fact that he doesn't know wtf he's talking about and bases his opinions on RBI totals.
  16. just wanted to point out once again how miserable the devils are to watch. i feel sorry for people in new jersey.
  17. remember earlier in the season when "so Hawks" meant something completely different?
  18. that didnt go off the skate, eff you
  19. was coming to post the same thing. they are completely unnoticable on the ice. it's sad.
  20. names turn gray if you've clicked them before either that or they're dead
  21. i'm interested in hearing ravech and boone explain why they think there are 4 teams in the nl central that are better on paper than the cubs
  22. No, you consistently imply that this 30-game stretch is the only thing that means anything, and I keep telling you that you are wrong. when a team has been the same for 30+ games, i tend to believe that they're highly likely to stay that way when their problems are as real as the hawks are. i don't see why there's any reason to believe that there's a good chance it will turn around when the playoffs start and we're facing even tougher competetion. the thing is, this team has very real problems. it's not like they're just slumping and people can't figure out why. our defense is ass without campbell and our goaltending is comical. crappy defense and horrible goaltending makes it close to impossible to win a stanley cup... unless you score like the caps. and we don't.
  23. I'm not saying it's for sure going to turn around. I'm saying it might. no, you constantly imply that this 30 game stretch doesn't mean much, when it absolutely does.
