    good first period, but the longer we go scoreless, the more worried i get. we've seen a lot of these games this season..... where we dominate but cant bury one as the other goalie stand on his head. needless to say, we can't afford to have that happen tonight.

    kinda hoping they just tank if the alternative is a 2005 or 2009 type season. that will (hopefully) get rid of lou and hendry. i'm also worried that if we're around .500 at the deadline that hendry will trade away good prospects for somebody to try to save his job. now that our farm system is performing, it would be typical to have hendry put a dent in that as a parting gift before his ass is canned

    Is it true that Lou just said he's going to hit Byrd leadoff and Theriot 2nd against LHP? If that's true, it might be the dumbest thing Lou has ever done. Does he not realize that LHP are the only pitchers Theriot actually does hit?

    the more games i watch this postseason, the more sadness i feel about our crowd. the fans pretty much negated the home ice advantage, and maybe even gave nashville an advantage with the tense and dead silent atmosphere they created.

    I kind of expect the Predators not knowing what hits them on Sunday. I think the Predator will see how outclass, talent wise, they truly are in this series. I expect that Hawks will win the series and am not debating that they are a more talented team. I think you may be underselling Nashville some though. They are not in a hockey media bed so you don't hear a lot about some of their players, but that does not mean that they lucked into a 100 point season. Nashville's defense core is very comparable to the best in the league, which helps offset the fact they are lacking in strong scoring forwards. the predators had a goal differential of zero this season

    that second period of the detroit/phoenix game was out of control. when teams are playing like that, playoff hockey is better than playoff anything else.

    what was with the crowd tonight? they were pathetic. i've watched most of the playoff games so far and our crowd was clearly the worst, and not even close to the other crowds. i'm watching the preds/wings and the place is jumping. it soundedl ike a november game at the united center tonight

    their game plan really got to us? what was their game plan? to get dominated for 2 periods, score a lucky goal, and then have troy brouwer give them the winning one? the blackhawks were clearly the more skilled team on the ice. the predators won because the blakchawks allowed them to. they allowed their typical soft goal and then fell apart for the next several minutes like they always do. i don't understand why they always collapse right after giving up one of those soft goals. they always look like a completely different team when they get gut punched by one of the clowns in goal
