considering that we've played 3 good teams (2 on the road), we're missing campbell, and the new team is still learning to play with each other, we aren't off to a bad start. could easily be 3-0. i think we'll keep getting better as the guys get used to each other and the young guys settle in a bit. losing hjalmarsson for a couple games will definitely hurt though. our d is going to be atrocious for those games. hos for mvp

lucky ass [expletive] horrible shift from toews. misses an empty net then takes a bad penalty
  9. 17 Seconds
i dont understand why toews has so much trouble burying those easy chances

ill miss his goonery but thats about it. ill always miss postseason buff, but he wasn't coming back even if we kept him don't know if i've mentioned this, but i think bowman did an amazing job this offseason, considering the circumstances. i was afraid he'd feel the pressure of casual/fair weather fans and keep guys like buff and niemi just for their playoff performances.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'd rather have a team like the 2010 Cubs than the 05 or 09 Cubs. At least this year's Cubs had the decency to let me know where the season was headed in April.

yes that was definitely put to rest after the first preseason game (where wade didn't even play)

Yea a 3 year deal seems very reasonable to me. Wouldn't surprise me if he got more than 3 years, actually. Lilly's been awesome since 07. Lilly last 4 seasons (124 starts)- 3.70 ERA 120 ERA+ 1.13 WHIP 3.38 K/BB 7.7 K/9 And most of that came in Wrigley, which isn't the best park for the type of pitcher Lilly is

    wow. not good at all.

from bill simmons twitter i know it's cool to hate on simmons, but when it comes to basketball he knows what he's talking about, and he actually does get good info. hopefully the bulls stand pat, because that's way too much to give up for melo imo
