  1. damn what a bullet and lol at keith already making a horrible turnover in his own end. whats that all about?
  2. wait, we have to try to win the cup again? this sucks
  3. did you guys miss the part where melvin said brenly is not on their radar
  4. it's real and i think he tucked back his weiner
  5. nsfw?
  6. phils over reds in 3 giants over braves in 4 rays over rangers in 4 yankees over twins in 4 phils over giants in 5 rays over yankees in 7 phils over rays in 6
  7. I'm probably in the minority, but I'd rather have a team like the 2010 Cubs than the 05 or 09 Cubs. At least this year's Cubs had the decency to let me know where the season was headed in April.
  8. yes that was definitely put to rest after the first preseason game (where wade didn't even play)
  9. Yea a 3 year deal seems very reasonable to me. Wouldn't surprise me if he got more than 3 years, actually. Lilly's been awesome since 07. Lilly last 4 seasons (124 starts)- 3.70 ERA 120 ERA+ 1.13 WHIP 3.38 K/BB 7.7 K/9 And most of that came in Wrigley, which isn't the best park for the type of pitcher Lilly is
  10. wow. not good at all.
  11. from bill simmons twitter i know it's cool to hate on simmons, but when it comes to basketball he knows what he's talking about, and he actually does get good info. hopefully the bulls stand pat, because that's way too much to give up for melo imo
  12. the packers lost because they blow
  13. and they dont even get the good meth
  14. erik the packers blow
  15. :( I have been officially defeated by the logic and wit of this response. im just enjoying the show
  16. how about the atrocious RTP call that gave the pckers a new set of downs and ventually a TD?
  17. did the bears try to give the packers the game too? a missed field goal, an interception in the endzone, a dropped touchdown on 4th down, etc. it's just funny to whine about your team handing the bearsthe game with pealties when THAT'S WHAT YOUR TEAM DOES. the packers led the nfl in penalties last season and are again this year. that is your team.
  18. it was an awful throw also. it was way behind him, and he threw it too hard for how open he was. bears just continue to throw away points. we sahould have 3 field goals and be up 16-10.
  19. supposedly he hasn't agreed to go to NJ yet, and that was premature. anyways, i wasn't sure if i wanted to trade noah for melo until now if he wants more than that and we could have melo for him and others, then ship his ass out. he's not worth more than that, and it's kind of annoying that he thinks so. im kind of getting the feeling that the bulls can have melo right now if they include noah, and maybe denver is waiting to see how the negotiations between the bulls and noah unfold. it's possible that garpax would like to extend noah, but will consider trading him for melo if extension talks don't progress soon.
  20. why are you completely ignoring the context? that was the initial comment. why should jason larue quit playing baseball even though he still was getting paid to play at the major league level? he may not be as good as others at that level, but it's still a pretty huge accomplishment to even be there. so yeah, saying that a player who is below average at the major league level should quit because he "sucks" doesn't really make sense. in the context relevant to this conversation, jason larue is a great baseball player.
  21. debatable
  22. not hyperbole at all. he may suck relative to the rest of MLB, but relative to all baseball players in the world, he's awesome. what percentage of players trying to make it to the majors actually ever make it? he not only made it, but was able to keep a job for several years
