  1. do i count as a fake fan it i was ridiculous obsessed with the bulls and the nba until i was about 16, then lost interest in basketball?
  2. This myth has already been debunked. If he doesn't come to Chicago, it won't be because he doesn't want to follow Michael. How has it been debunked? Because a few people in the media said they don't think it's an issue? Either way, if it's true that a big part of the Bulls pitch was about Jordan, then I think that was a horrible, horrible mistake.
  3. http://deadspin.com/5581889/lebron-james-is-a-****
  4. There is no way Cleveland is last. Cleveland is still in the driver's seat. No way. He just started a new twitter, just started a new website, is doing a huge ESPN special for his announcement. He's starting a new chapter of his career All of those occurred before LeBron pleaded with Bosh to come to Cleveland. Cleveland is very much in the running. There were like2 reports of Cleveland trying to get Bosh, and that was probably put out there by LeBron's people to save a little face. "Hey, I tried to stay with Bosh, but I couldn't:. BS. Bosh was never interested in Cleveland.
  5. ESPN says LeBron is meeting with Pat Riley tomorrow Now do you believe?

  7. BTW, I don't think the Bulls are out of it. I'd actually put them second if I was rankings the team with the best chances Miami Chicago NY NJ Cleveland
  8. Because they're going for LeBron and announce all 3 at the same time
  9. Mike Miller or Anthony Morrow
  10. Not enough. Allen's not gonna leave the Celtics unless he's getting big money. He's signing with the Celtics for $1M, right? No, but he's not going to leave his comfort zone with teammates he knows, and a coaching staff he knows, for a chance at a 2nd ring. He knows Thibobeau
  11. Regular season wins don't always matter when it comes to the playoffs. Two times in a row Cleveland had a great record and did squat in the playoffs. In the playoffs, Cleveland's lack of secondary options means that a good team will beat them 4/7. This is much harder to do in the regular season. The playoffs are about matchups. Cleveland doesn't match up very well against playoff teams. All I said was I think the Bucks are better than the bulls How? How many games do you think each team wins? If the Bulls add a SG (and they will, considering they'll have a [expletive] of capspace still avilable for this season if LBJ doesn't come) they should be good for 50 wins.
  12. I don't know about any of that, but as a fan I don't really like all the day games.
  13. Now that we know he's okay, I really want to see video of this
  14. Yeah, I'm really not buying the overflow of Knicks related tweets. You want ratings, so what's the biggest market you want to attract? New York.
  15. You said you'd put them against any other team in the east. That sounds like a 60 win team to me. I'd put the Heat, Celtics, and Magic as better, and the Bulls probably on the same level as the Hawks and Bucks. I would put the Bucks ahead of them as well. A 50-win team in the Celtics dismantled Cleveland this year. Regular season wins don't matter. The Celtics were not a 50 win talent team. Oh, so for the Bulls it's okay to just use their record even though they had mad injuries and a joke coach, but for the Celtics it's "they were not a 50 win talent team"
  16. What? You're aware that Cleveland was 20 games better than the Bulls last year, right? Rose and Noah are getting better. They will have a low post presence now and most likely a solid 2. Cleveland was built to win in the regular season. I think the Bulls now can beat them in the playoffs. At the very least it is a close series. The Bulls are no better than a 5 seed if Lebron returns to Cleveland unless there's some serious injury attrition to the top teams. I know Boston was one win afrom a title this season, but I don't think you can just assume that team will be top 4 in the East next year. Another year on KG's legs, Thibodeau gone, Allen maybe gone. Wasn't a big part of their playoff success the resurgence of KG? Before the playoffs started, everyone thought the Celtcis were done. Do you count on KG being good next year?
  17. I'm telling you guys, all the NY stuff is being put out their for publicity. We've got all these famous athletes tweeting about hearing that it's done, Chris Broussard pimping it, etc. It's all about the show and ratings. 75% Heat 15% Knicks 10% Bulls
  18. The Boozer deal is 5/75
  19. Every time the "Congratulations Chicago fans, your Blackhawks are 2010 Stanley Cup Champions" commercial for the championship gear comes on to NHLN, it sinks in. When the playoffs were happening, you just keep getting closer and closer that you forget how hard it is to do it and how long it takes. When it happened it felt more like we just beat the FLyers, when really we had just beaten the entire NHL. I think I might go over the playoff highlights again tonight to distract me from the Bulls offseason fail.
  20. Adande was saying the Bulls played up that angle during the meeting too. Who knows if it's true, but I'd hope not.
  21. Even better. Now let's hope Lebron comes to Chicago or goes to rot in NY or NJ. All the other contracts that have been agreed upon have had the contract details released pretty much right away. All except the Wade/Bosh ones All this NY stuff is publicity to pump up the ratings of his special. I'm about 90% sure he was going to Miami. That's what I thought last night after Bosh's tweet and the announcement from LeBron.
  22. Who said anything about 60 wins? I see no reason to think they can't win 50 to 55. They should be in the hunt for a top 4 seed in the playoffs. Right now Boston and Orlando r prob better but other than those 2 I don't see a team clearly better than the Bulls especially if theu get a shooter. You said you'd put them against any other team in the east. That sounds like a 60 win team to me. I'd put the Heat, Celtics, and Magic as better, and the Bulls probably on the same level as the Hawks and Bucks. I know you don't actually believe this.
  23. JA Adande was on espn radio saying the Bulls presentation bombed and they talked too much about trying to fill Jordan's shoes or something I never really understood the whole shoe in a box thing. I'd want to be refuting the claims that he'll constantly be compared with Jordan here, not reinforce them
  24. Classy Using your kids for basketball leverage? I know, classy lol what leverage, exactly? Probably to get LeBron to join them in Miami (which probably worked)
