  1. Classy Using your kids for basketball leverage? I know, classy
  2. And [expletive] D-Wade. That guy was playing Chicago all along. All about the kids, right Dwyane? I hope his ex-wife gets custody.
  3. If LeBron wasn't going to Miami, why aren't the releasing the contract details on Wade/Bosh? They're all going to the Heat.
  4. You think Carlos Boozer + 3 point shooter + young guy development - Hinrich - Miller = 20 game improvement? you really need to stop trolling the bulls thread
  5. I don't know.... the more I think about it, I don't think it's the Knicks. I just can't get past Bosh's twitter comment and then the LeBron news like 3 hours later. I think they're going somewhere together, and that would eliminate NY. I think it's the Heat, Bulls,or Nets. If you don't believe the superteam possibilty, then I think we're in good shape. So, do you believe the Heat possibilty?
  6. also, there's this
  7. I think Miami is the least likely, because LeBron would be completely upstaging Wade by holding his own special. "I'm going to Miami... oh and by the way, Wade is re-signing too." *Wade emerges from shadows with Chris Bosh to join LeBron on stage*
  8. 50% Miami 30% NY 20% Chicago
  9. I'm just hoping they don't all go to Miami and that we can get Boozer over Lee
  10. http://i50.tinypic.com/fkxmv4.jpg
  11. Can;t they do it even with Beasley?
  12. They can all get the max, right?
  13. Doing an ESPN special would be the PERFECT place to announce a superteam And nobody knows where this is being held yet
  14. Okay, I'm thinking it all over and I'm convinced these dudes are going to Miami - Summit happens, Bosh and Wade are commited to doing the trio thing in Miami.... LeBron insure and gives them a "maybe" - During FA, we see the empty chair picture from Bosh's twitter, essentiualy saying "C'mon LeBron, we know you're considering it... " - LeBron still wants to go to Cleveland, but only if he can get bosh - Bosh holds out, refuses to go to Cleveland (because it's Cleveland) - LeBron knows he won't win anything in Cle without serious help, decides to go for the Miami thing, informs Wade and Bosh - Bosh tweets "today is a GREAT day" (The superteam in Miami was his number one choice all long, finally getting what he wanted) - Hours later, we hear that LeBron is prepared to announce his decision - Minutes later, we get an article of a conference call between the 3 schedule for tomorrow, theoretically to hash out the details Read all that in order, and tell me it doesn't seems like this is what's going on. I know there was the whole "Bosh is demanding the max" thing, but like everything else, it could have been complete BS At this point I'm feeling like LeBron to Cleveland would be a win for us
  15. I have this terrible feeling he's going to NY
  16. Ok, now let's go back to Bosh's tweet from earlier this afternoon- Really seems like both those dudes made their decisions within a few hours of each other. Considering how much we heard about Bosh wanting to play with LBJ, there's a good chance they've agreed to play somewhere together, right? I'm worried about the Miami thing happening again
  17. Apparently they just said on espnews that LeBron will announce his decision at 9 PM ET on thursday
  18. Is there anybody here that would take this scenario right now? Cavs- LeBron (nobody else) Miami- Wade, Bosh Knicks- (nobody significant) Bulls- Boozer, Miller Anybody? I'm not saying I would, but if we whiff on Wade/LeBron, this wouldn't be that bad. You essentially have LeBron wasted on the Cavs, the Knicks stuck with no real chance of winning anything (this year a least), and the Heat with a really good, but beatable, team Meanwhile we look pretty good with Rose Miller Deng Boozer Noah If everything played out like that, I feel like we'd have a legitimate chance at beating anybody in the East if some things go our way (Boozer stays healthy, Rose takes another leap, etc) Then again, we'd still get worked by whoever comes out of the West. At least we'd have a legitimate team though- which we haven't had in over a decade.
  19. And I think his "homies" should be able to do whatever the hell they want if it's the difference between us coming away with LeBron or Carlos Boozer. This organization can't afford to pass on LeBron over something like that. They just can't. It's about WINNING above all else.
  20. Unless it's true that they told LeBron his crew wouldn't get special privileges I agree with the Bulls on that. yeah, who cares about winning championships. [expletive] that guy. Jordan didn't need "special privileges" for his boys back in the day to win championships, neither does James. If he wants to stay in Cleveland fine, but Reinsdorf isn't going to give James that kind of power, when he didn't give that power to Jordan. First of all, superstars DO get treated differently, and they should. Just like star performers get special perks in any type of company. Why do we have to act like this isn't the case? And I think losing out on a player o0f LeBron's magnitude because you want to treat him on the same level as Taj Gibson or Luol Deng is absolutely ridiculous Do you want to win, or do you want to have a team if disciplined "equals" who never get out of the Eastern Conference? It's as simple as that, really.
  21. Bosh's twitter- considering how quiet his twitter has been the last few days, i feel like that has to mean something.
  22. Unless it's true that they told LeBron his crew wouldn't get special privileges I agree with the Bulls on that. yeah, who cares about winning championships. [expletive] that guy.
  23. Unless it's true that they told LeBron his crew wouldn't get special privileges
  24. yeah well have fun rooting for a really young good team and watching kevin durant play [expletive]
  25. But here is the good news for the Bulls, by the end of the 2010-11 season Rose will be a bonafide superstar. Not to mention Noah is quickly becoming an elite rebounder/shot-blocker/hustle player. So we got the two important positions filled already. No. The most important position is "superstar who is good enough to be the best player on a championship team", and we don't have that... and probably aren't getting one in the next few years if we whiff on LeBron/Wade.
