i still feel really down after last night's loss, yet we have like a 40% chance if being champions in less than a week. i would have been thrilled with this position a few weeks ago.

is boating drunk really comparable to driving drunk? i don't know anything about boating, but it seems like the danger to others would be minuscule compared to the danger a drunk driver poses to other drivers.

imagine it's opening day. think of how happy you'd be if you knew that 7 months later the cubs would be down 1-0 in the world series with a beleaguered cleveland rotation incoming. if they lose, you'll look back on today and wonder why the horsefeathers you weren't thrilled with the golden opportunity in front of us. i am sad too though :(
