    The theory was him was flipping back into God-mode. I'm not saying he sucks. But his year long stats certainly aren't God-mode either. He's obviously very good. It's a spring training start. Drawing any meaningful conclusion from it is being reactionary. i wouldn't call it a spring training start. jake was probably trying pretty hard tonight.

    he was comparing a boat crash to plane crashes, and the fishing thing was a dumb reference to the fact that he played for the marlins I got that part...but who is the snake bitten franchise? like i said, at first i thought he thought fernandez played with the yankees. then he said the fishing thing which made it pretty clear he knew he played for the marlins. so who is the snake bitten franchise? the yankees? just seems like an oddly irrelevant thing to say. especially when munson happened like 40 years ago and lidle like ten. anyway, i don't want to sidetrack this thread...i was just voicing my confusion when i read that post. yeah, i edited it too late. i missed the "snake bitten" part. i have no idea.
