Top half or batting order vs. bottom half of order. If Russell starts hitting, this lineup is not going to offer many breathers to opposing pitchers.

Early on I had that sick feeling about Lester, but as the game progressed it finally dawned on me that but for Hamilton, Lester would've likely posted a "ace-like" game. Him getting whiffs, and apparently getting stronger as the game progressed were positives IMO. I worry less about his issues w/ holding runners/throwing to bases than his (apparent?) early-season propensity to allow hard contact. At least that's how I've viewed most of the hits he's allowed.
